Trump has now stated that "the easiest way to save money" would be to "terminate Elon's government Subsidies and Contracts".

Musk has now, reportedly, claimed that Trump is named in the "Epstein files".

Considering the unsupervised access Musk's DoGE team was granted in regards to otherwise secure systems, is it too far fetched to believe Elon "has the receipts";

This is full-blown Trump neurosis. I like Elon a lot, but he looked like he was tweaking in the Oval Office the other day #1, and no doubt he liked the EV mandate, which Trump removed, and the last straw for Elon's camel was the NASA hire. 

Tesla's lost 200 billion over the last 4 months, men have resorted to mind-numbing agents for a lot less

Essentially, Musk wanted favors for his election and DOGE contributions, and Trump didn't agree. 

If not, it might be complete subterfuge and distraction

Oh noes, not trillions with a "T" what will we do. I have been hearing that worst case scenarios with some factual basis of the national debt fear since my childhood, it's never materialized in my 60 years and rarely has in America's history.

Furthermore what makes you think Ive ever believed ANY elected government officials would give a damn about me or any individual. 

Is that where you are coming from Trump/Vance don't care about me but Harris/Walz would have?

DC politicians have 2 jobs get reelected and enrich themselves, thier family and cronies. 

My Dad clued me a long time ago all you should worry about is being a good person and improving your immediate family's situation because its the only situation one has a modicum of control over, and what he didnt cover Russ Kick and George Carlin filled in the gaps. Both my grandmothers had vivid stories of the Depression, and how the family worked and survived it together. 

One can recognize the national debt is real, while also realizing politicians and Wall Street play off of and manipulate those concerns and have made trillions collectively over the years 

So begone with your overt paranoid financial calamity concerns... why prescribe to the mantra the TPTB use to manipulate the masses 

It's up to the individual it's a dog eat dog world has always been we just get more civilized and proficient in how it's done. 

For perspective below is the earliest I could find national debt worries mentioned. Regardless of what I think economics isn't my forte  I generally listen to what the mover and shakers the power brokers suggest.

In this case I imagine Warren has a better grasp of the situation than the most anybody on Deny Ignorance.

I listen to a different mover and shaker who says the billionaires need to be taxed...problem solved. But your country seems to love making their own in-country problems. Carry on if that's what the people want, but I doubt it is what the people want.
