Hey, why when I search for this exact article title, which is sourced from the Washington Examiner, does the original article appear nowhere in the search results? I have to go to the Examiner website directly and search for it there. Here it is!
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/...e-america/
This kind of censorship is bullshit and needs to end.
Edit: Oh, and look! The MSN-copy of the article, which is the only one the search engine will show, omits the images and source tweets from the original. I see their game, and it's nasty.
Orwellian.

Q - Who is Dr. Antifa at Rutgers?
Quote:At Rutgers University, historian Mark Bray, not "Dr. Antifa," has been the focus of a recent controversy. The nickname "Dr. Antifa" was used by a student group to refer to him. The controversy has led to death threats against Bray and his family, prompting him to move to Europe and teach his classes remotely.
Allegations of promoting violence
• Misinterpreted book introduction: In the introduction to his 2017 book, Bray wrote that his work was an "unabashedly partisan call to arms that aims to equip a new generation of anti-fascists with the history and theory necessary to defeat the resurgent Far Right". This was misinterpreted by some, including a student group at Rutgers, as promoting political violence.
• Comments on "Meet the Press": Bray received criticism for comments he made in a 2017 interview on NBC's Meet the Press, where he stated that violent self-defense is sometimes "a legitimate response" to violence by white supremacists and neo-Nazis. However, he also stated that he did not "wish violence upon anyone".
Consequences of the controversy
• Death threats and harassment: Following a petition launched by a student group at Rutgers, Bray received death threats, and his personal information and home address were posted online.
• Flight cancellation: After announcing his move to Europe, Bray's flight was mysteriously canceled shortly before takeoff.
• University response: Rutgers officials released a statement expressing support for Bray's academic freedom and their commitment to providing a secure environment for all members of the university community.
• Bray's future: Bray plans to continue teaching remotely from Europe for the academic year and hopes to return to campus in the fall.

So you disagree with the article?
Or can't defend it so you go off on a tangent to try to obfuscate.
Which is it and why?

Oh this is very good. Now attack the left. Bring that sarcasm to bear. We're rooting for you!
And if you want a source that doesn't decide your opinion for you, read the Bible. There's so many translations available. You can do it.

That just lines up more with the rabidness of inverse cancel culture to me.
More "payback is a bitch" than anything else. Kind of like a naturally occurring equilibrium for our abstract social concepts. They are destined to straddle a fence and rock back and forth too.
It seems like it's really for all the former "isms" and "dangerous misinformation" that got people cancelled or fired.
And with a developing Stockholm Syndrome you can almost see why a party more united hath taken vengeance.
I just fucking hate it when its on the opposite side. Theocracy and Nationalism are two things that terrify me when combined.

And here is where the submissive right wing will once again fall into the leftist trap of saying "no, it's your cancel culture! you invented it!" and " you're the one projecting!". They can't see that's what the left wants, for them to define the context. They want to make it about hurt feelings and interpretation, rather than the rule of law. It's so easy to bait the right, they've gotten so thirsty for vengeance. Right now, they actually think nabbing some two-bit New York attorney for a shady real estate deal will make a difference! Ha! Yet another opportunity for the left to reflect their hypocrisy back at them. Blame the right for "going after" a noble public servant, as political retribution. Guise, when are you going to learn to ignore the left's baiting? They've got you playing their game.
Conservatives, please study this:

Then let's make an America that is actually inclusive. I'm not even kidding. I really think it's possible. But you don't change a system that isn't working by doubling-down on the system that isn't working. There are alternatives other than violence, but vested interests don't want those to have traction. Those who are using the left as Puppets, the Soros of the world, want them to have no other recourse. The political dialectic has been poisoned and subverted, we must find new ways to tolerate each other.
Or lock up those who won't.
But if things don't work out, there's always Israel. You mentioned that they're LGBT-friendly. Might not fit your other criteria though. Canada it is, then.

For the sake of respect I will fictionalize this entry... a more or less college-bound acquaintance once asked me intensely about my opinion on the whole 'antifa thing'...
I told her I was no antifa expert, but it seems to be just a name used to describe different things.
We kind of got into it... leading to an exchange of notes...
Here a gist of what I sent.
1. It's a serious game afflicted with childish attitudes and grudges,
2. It's caring more about how things seem than how they are,
3. It's rooting for your LARP-enemy to fail, because that's all you really have.
4. It's cheering for a "wish-list" but not making a plan.
5. It's blindly accepting what you're told through a megaphone.
6. It's having faith in teachers who care more about their 'causes' than you.
7. It's believing that screaming is the same as talking; it's thinking your volume makes you a teacher.
1. And this is not really a good time to entertain either.
2. Most of what people 'think' they know is what is produced for them to consume. Produced.
3. The faux-political-hatred is a 'theatrical' game (that gets out of hand.)
4. Any one can complain... no one can MAKE you listen to their complaints.... rude.
5. Just because there's a stage, a megaphone, sexy chicks, hot guys and good vibes... you still have to listen to the words... some of them are just plain fucked up.
6. Did you ever wonder if they do this every semester? Why would there be "hangers on?" Something distinctly nonacademic there...
7. No one who approaches in conflict and a silencing voice actually wants to speak with anyone... only to speak to them... are you one of those?
