You are about as dense as it gets aren't you?   He left the immediate area as per protocol as to not interfere with the investigation. 

He was not legally able to stay at the immediate scene or the entire investigation would have been tainted. Would you rather the entire investigation be thrown out because he wouldn't leave the area like he was supposed to?

How can it be investigated properly when the shooter leaves the scene of a homicide?

It seems reasonable to me for a complete independent investigation to happen at the scene from actual trained police, that the shooter remain on the scene for questioning.

If it was that 17 year old kid working at Target, then I don't blame there being an uprising against these ICE violent thugs who are breaking the law using excessive force against citizens. Let's hope more city and state officials start arresting them for their lawlessness.

Nothing else needs to be investigated at the scene.

She tried to run him over, he shot her in self defense as evidenced by multiple videos from multiple angles.

He goes on administrative leave as per usual after discharging his weapon until he is cleared to return to work when they find it a justified shooting, which should be very soon.

We need him back out there detaining criminal illegals ASAP.

Without being able to detain and/or hold an investigation with ICE after violent episodes there is no way to determine who was inciting the violence to begin with.
