CNN’s Moore: I Now Think Minneapolis ICE Shooting ‘Likely a Legally Justified Shooting’

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Story Is,” CNN Law Enforcement Contributor Steve Moore stated that the new video of the shooting by ICE in Minneapolis “leads me to believe that this was likely a legally justified shooting” and while he wasn’t ready to say whether or not the shooting was a justified shooting before the video, he now believes “a reasonable investigation will find that the officer was within the deadly force policy.”

It's a disaster if you're dumb enough to challenge them. Then run into one with your car when they have detained you.  It's under Federal jurisdiction.  There won't be any rainbow liberal trials.  The Federal are ok with the shooting.

That activism works both ways. 

If he has aggressive issues in his file from his military career — that is also a factor. 

And as said previously I doubt intent by the driver could be proven.

Her intent doesn't matter; she hit him with her vehicle while fleeing a lawful stop, and she might be able to plead down to involuntary vehicular homicide if she didn't have a toe tag tight now.

Watch all the angles he does not draw on her till the vehicle's wheels were spinning, and it was heading towards him. He was so close it was 2-3 seconds to shoot, tires spin, vehicle lurches, agent has tick tick to decide draw and shoot

I don’t agree. Doubt that would stand in court. 

Her wheels were turned to pull away. 

There was no intent to use her car as a weapon. 

As I see it the ICE agent was the aggressor. Was he in his right?  Probably. 

Were his actions necessary. I don’t think so.

 the biggest issue is ICE agents are practically pulled off the street with little training and probably no training for domestic issues.  Some have a military background which can actually escalate the problem — being the wrong mindset. 

You don't know what training they've had.   
Having been military is not 'the wrong mindset'.  
You are speaking of things you know nothing about.
