Yeah thats such a bullshit desperate rationalization by Zelensky, ask the citizens of Sudan why Ukrainians are due American help and the Sudenese are not?
The comments are spot on...

‘The US has no right to watch us being killed and do nothing’ – Zelensky. ‘The US is one of the few countries that can put Russia in its place. Yes, maybe the Americans don’t want to give us weapons. But they have an obligation to stop Russia’s weapons. They have the right not to help us with electronic warfare or not to provide air defense systems. They can say that they have Patriot systems, but they don’t give them to us. However, they have no right not to react when missiles are flying at us and killing us.’ - SK

The only way you are going to end this back and forth infantalism is by getting money hungry defence contractor beholden 'leaders' out of the negotiating.
And look into Little Z's personal finances too, to boot.

"Little Z"?
Seems to have been not so little standing up to Russia for tree years
Maybe also look into Putin's finances?
And Trump's finances too?
Particularly the bits from Russia?

Particularly the bits from Russia? I only mentioned the ones that seem to be delaying peace talks the most.
For example:
Trump does not seem to be delaying peace talks.
Zelensky straight up said multiple times he would not sit down to talk.
Putin for all his corruption and why I didnt mention him cuz its obviously louder squawked about, at least seemed to be agreeing to sit down and talk.

"Zelensky straight up said multiple times he would not sit down to talk."
When?
Putin didn't show.

Starting from a baseline psychology of:
2022 KYIV — There will be no peace talks between Ukraine and Russia as long as Vladimir Putin remains Russian leader, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday night.
https://www.politico.eu/article/volodymy...a-ukraine/
2025
to not showing up (neither of them)
https://www.cnn.com/2025/05/12/europe/tr...hnkDespite Putin being the first to propose “direct talks” in Turkey, the Kremlin has since prevaricated over whether he will attend. Asked by reporters Wednesday about the make-up of Russia’s delegation, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Moscow will only reveal who it is sending to Turkey once Putin gives the order to do so.
Zelensky said he would not consider meeting any other Russian representatives because “everything in Russia depends” on Putin.
If he was going to be the bigger man for 'democracy' he would have gone.
He's been off on the wrong foot the whole time. And we all know Putin's corruption is allowed to be shouted about, but we all know Zelensky is raking it in personally from this conflict.
He just doesn't want it to end either, it seems.
When it does, he has to hold elections and be held accountable for forced conscription, kick backs and other NATO fundraising tours as well.
As I said bipartisanly in the past, both sides are not interested in peace.

I frequently see people pointing out Ukraine/Zelensky corruption, yet the main reason Trump dislikes him is due to Zelenski not accepting Trumps bribe to investigate the Bidens.
Kinda ironic.

Let's just say by that time, there was a high probability, Zelensky had likely already been bought and paid for by other interests, American or otherwise
Quote:Zelensky himself stated in October 2019 that there was “no blackmail” in the call, though he only learned of the aid freeze after the conversation, which may have influenced his public stance to maintain U.S. support.
While substantial evidence supports the claim that Trump attempted to pressure Zelensky into investigating the Bidens by withholding military aid and a White House meeting, actions widely described as a quid pro quo. Whether this legally constitutes bribery is debated due to technicalities in statutory language, but the political and ethical implications were significant enough to lead to impeachment. Posts on X reflect ongoing public sentiment, with some users explicitly calling Trump’s actions an attempted bribe or extortion, though these are opinions and not legal findings.
