Mass shooting northern BC confirmed 10 people have died, including a suspect

Just don’t try and tell me that a boy that wants to wear a dress isn’t mentally ill as well as the people that condone it.

Some of ya’s need to get a serious grasp on reality.  “Trans” top the charts of mass shootings in recent years.  I saw the numbers tonight that someone posted and gawd I wish I would’ve saved them to share.  But yeah, let’s just ignore the facts.

Should be an accepted deviance committed to social memory like homosexuality by now.... but there was a 2000 year injunction that messed that up.

In my mind I am trying to help break the masses of religious heteronormative indoctrination laid on for centuries by taboo and stigma.

Prudishness and chastity and sanctity. So praise the patriarch.

This is always a fun debate, but it's been pointed out that it's somewhat distasteful and off-topic to argue about homonormative victory-dancing, so I'll abstain.

Has anyone got an update on the shooting?.

You know, the one in Canadia where 9 kids were killed?

Shot his mother and ten year old stepbrother first. The mother spoke out against anti trans hate.
He had a history of mental illness and the police had been to the house before. The family's guns were taken but apparently petitioned to be returned.  If this person was that messed up with that kind of history, guns probably should not have been in the house but that is Canada and large predators are a concern. The mother said she was a conservative leaning to libertarian but was still against trans hate. I wonder how the family dynamic was.
Canada news is sitting on this and US news doesn't seem to want to touch it, either. But most news is owned by the same few corporations. Still, the internet and social media is getting the news out there.

Real or not? I don't know if one can fake YouTube upload dates.

Wait, and didn't the shooter last year have a Wounded Warrior Project sweatshirt too? Weird.

He was on huge doses of SSRI's, I read 280mg, where 200mg is suggested as a maximum dose. He had a history of mental health issues going back years. At one point the police removed the firearms from the house he lived in, but someone in the household petitioned to have them returned.

Yes, he may not or may have been partially indigenous, nobody really knows about that. We really don't know much about anything about the motive at this point.

The Mayor there is stating that the community was 'one big family', so if that is true then I can only focus on the quality of mental healthcare that the shooter and his family received. I don't agree with transitioning a child, considering one's brain does not fully develop until 25 plus years, not to mention one's emotional and life's seasoning to help direct one's decisions in life.

They have no motive at this point in time. Investigations are still under way.

Why do I feel numb?

Why do we tell people with gender dysmorphia that they are right?
I am glad that the current US Administration has the COMMON SENSE to call a spade a spade and it makes Canada looks extra ridiculous, especially with the Newspeak Language BS they are using in their coverage of this terrible story.

Suicidal empathy is a big thing now apparently.  I for one am done supporting shooting ourselves.

Will I be a dick to 'one of them' in person? Of course not, politeness dictates playing the game to their faces because that is basic human kindness, they are sick and its not worth the non-help to tell them the logic, as long as they are not militant and mean themselves. I have worked with 2 and they were both very nice people, albeit deluded.

The average person these days has no psychological or spiritual foundation to lean on.
They are bombarded with hate, sensationalism, fear mongering and other emotionalism through their social media addictions, and 24/7 news cycles whether online or off.
That's why in a lot of ways Western Civilisation was better off with religion, at least for the sheeple it kept them in line.
So it's actually surprising  that more of this tragedy does not happen, with the toxic climate in the 'aether' that most are unable or unwilling to tune out.

Not really. RMCP are not saying much and I think it has to do with the shooter being trans gender. They want to handle this carefully and not stir up more hate for the Trans community. I don't blame them for that, but the people of that town deserve some answers.

Yeah it very much seems like that, the "woman in a dress" and "gunperson" were the flags for me to  "trans".

Its like the new age press requirement of "allegedly".
