"**RCMP officials have confirmed the identity of the suspect in the Tumbler Ridge, B.C. mass shooting as Jesse Van Rootselaar, an 18-year-old woman who died by self-inflicted gunshot wound at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.  The incident, which left nine people dead including the suspect, involved a shooting at the school and a separate shooting at a nearby residence where the suspect’s mother (39) and 11-year-old stepbrother were found deceased"

"Suspect had history of mental health issues, RCMP say
 RCMP Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald confirmed that police had attended the suspect’s family residence “on multiple occasions over the past several years,” with some of those calls relating to mental health issues.
 
“I can say that on different occasions, the suspect was apprehended for assessment and follow-up” under the Mental Health Act, McDonald said. On certain occasions, she was taken to the hospital.
 
McDonald said police were unaware whether the suspect was receiving any help or counselling for their mental health."

Doesnt matter. The recurrence is a useful control mechanism and confirmation of a religion-influenced bias, that just like homosexuality through the 90s, trans-identity is a mental disease to treat and not accept in society.

And treat it with discipline and religion instead of the gender affirming care that works without psychopathy MOST of the time.

Is the first thought people are programmed to.  And you must NOT refer to this "diseased monster" in its post-transition gender. God wants you to dead name it and think all transpeople are psycho killers you can totally dehumanize. 

To the fiasco of it all, to the headline news using another tragedy as transphobic talking points: 

I'm sick of this.  You dont get to do this to the transgender for 40 years now that you accept LGB me. 

While I'm proud stigmas for LGB erode more with every pansexual gold medal winning figure skater, it should still be said some of those "male" figure skaters, really really like designing their own flamboyantly gaudy sequin outfits. 

Accept the spectrum, world. It's painful. 

Please stop pretending like gay hasn't ALWAYS been synonymous with cross-gender traits. 

Like its okay to call the gay kid a fairy, or mock him in terms that ascribe female characteristics, or call the lesbian a butch and give her male designations.

BUT IF ANY OF THAT HOLDS TRUE AND THEY ACTUALLY CHANGE GENDER?

OVER THE LINE! 

Then everyone on team phobia can forget all about the times they acknowledge trans-identity through derogatory stereotypes, and still lose their minds that these cross gender traits, that are so fun to use to demean people, might actually mean something cross gender.

The shooter was only 18 years old and transitioned two years ago??? whatever transitioned means ??? at the age of 16 years ??? and was hospitalized for mental health issues many times ???

Are you speaking for Americans only? I doubt Canadians are as transphobic.

What I've heard is that the shooter started transitioning at 12, the mother was a huge leftist and supporter of the trans movement.
