The Situation Room is frequently used for classified briefings and monitoring situations. Being in it doesn't mean something is about to happen, it just means that there's a reason for him to be in there.

Granted. However, there is also a lot of other things going on as well.
Apparently (yet to be confirmed) Trump has given Israel his 'permission' to Israel to attack Iran. What exactly that means is not clear yet apparently.

I agree with you. 

The USA probably doesn't even need to get involved. It seems the Israeli's are in total control of the situation.

Except.....if Israel cannot fully disable that enrichment site.

That site needs to be destroyed.....not another "kick the can down the road" fix.

If Israel wants to take it out so bad, they can go for it. 

I don't believe him any more now than all the other times he's cried wolf. NK has nukes, Pakistan has nukes, China has nukes. Iran isn't some boogieman we need to go to war with.

We do kind of owe them one for the hostages in the late 70's, so now is a pretty good time to get even.

An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. I think they thought they owed us for the coup and installing the Shah.

We're too far in debt to get sucked into a war in the ME. They said Iraq and Afghanistan would be easy too.

The B-2s left Diego Garcia a long time ago, and were replaced by B-52s that aren't certified for the GBU-57. There's no evidence of B-2s flying missions out of CONUS, which they'd have to do if they were hitting Iran.
