NYT is reporting that the ethnic cleansing of Gaza City has begun:

Preparations for a Move on Gaza City Have Started, Israel’s Military Says

Troops have reached the city’s outskirts, an Israeli official said, adding that more reservists are being asked to report for duty to cover for other soldiers who will be involved in going into Gaza City.

Israel’s military is moving forward with plans to take over Gaza City, officials said Wednesday, even as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu weighs a Hamas cease-fire proposal that would anger hard-liners in his government but, potentially, ensure the safe release of some hostages.

Troops had reached the city’s outskirts and tents were being moved into southern Gaza for people who would be displaced from their homes once the operation begins, an Israeli military official who requested anonymity in line with military protocol, said at a briefing for journalists.

On Wednesday, Defense Minister Israel Katz said separately that he had approved mobilizing thousands more reservists and extending orders for others to supply troops for the fighting in Gaza. “I instruct you to use all tools and all power to strike the enemy until it is subdued, and to protect I.D.F. soldiers,” Mr. Katz told Israeli troops, referring to the Israel Defense Forces, according to a statement from his ministry....

But the most significant aspect of the plan is the evacuation of 1.2 million Palestinian civilians, a move the IDF says is essential for the incursion to begin.

According to military sources, the evacuation is expected to take between one week and 10 days. The takeover of the city would then last from several hours to a few days and require about half the forces that previously operated there. After gaining control, the IDF is expected to spend more than a year dismantling infrastructure both above- and belowground....

The IDF plans to issue evacuation orders, but many people are expected to remain in the city and seek shelter inside buildings, despite the risk to their lives. Most residents are exhausted from previous displacements, and it has become increasingly difficult to find a place to pitch a tent.
In such cases, the military says its forces are prepared to use artillery at "nearby areas" to encourage residents to leave.

So, expect more casualties to result.

If they released the hostages and stopped hiding in civilian buildings then the buildings wouldn’t need to be hit by munitions.
There are 47 Muslim majority countries.
None of them want the palistinians in their country.

Have you seen what Gaza looks like now?

Maybe they shouldn't have started a war on Oct 7 against a country that could wipe them off the map ... and maybe they shouldn't have all danced for joy in the streets of Gaza after starting the war.  Maybe they should have released the hostages and put an end to this a year and a half ago.
