Kind of the point I was making...thanks for picking up on it and not making me feel detached from reality lol!
Will they be able to dismantle the whole thing...100% yes in this current climate...no one will stop them who has an interest to that can. Will this forever still be a problem...yes. You were mandated land from other people who had long since kicked your people out...its always going to be a fight. Maybe all along it was a test from god to show his grace as his chosen people...as likes to be touted. In which case they failed...as far as I care...well does it pay rent?!?!

I agree, but have a different, ever-evolving viewpoint..
It's all about timing. Besides, if the Palestinians held ALL the same advantages as Israel...what would the outcome be
BUT what if they have delayed the apocalyptic showdown till we can find peace another way, or at least counter a destructive war

Approximately 1 year, 10 months and 2 days have passed since Hamas militants abducted individuals from Israel and took them to the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
If one of your relatives were a hostage, I wonder if that would change your tune.

That is the thing...if you had family/friends or yourself lived on either side you'd have feeling about the situation one way or the other. Thats why I say it won't ever really stop. They might wipe hamas and close their shop down for a while...but the idea of what they represent to those there won't go away...same goes for the other side...the arab world could wipe Israel out of the ME too but they'd be back. The fighting is like 3000 years old and shows no signs of abating.

Quote:Netanyahu Doubles Down on Gaza Offensive After Global Backlash
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel defended on Sunday his government’s plan to launch a renewed offensive against Hamas in parts of Gaza, following a wave of international condemnation from traditional allies and critics at home.
The Israeli military was preparing to expand its campaign to central Gaza as well as Gaza City, Mr. Netanyahu told reporters at a news conference in Jerusalem. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have sought shelter in those areas, hoping they would be safer.
...“Given Hamas’s refusal to lay down its arms, Israel has no choice but to finish the job and complete the defeat of Hamas,” said Mr. Netanyahu. “Dismantling the two remaining Hamas strongholds in Gaza City and the central camps — this is the best way to end the war.”
...For Israelis and Palestinians alike, Mr. Netanyahu’s argument that Israeli forces needed to invade Hamas’s final strongholds were almost painfully familiar. In February 2024, Mr. Netanyahu identified another Gazan city — Rafah — as “Hamas’s last bastion.” At the time, he said victory was “within reach.”
...Hamas, in a statement on Sunday responding to Mr. Netanyahu’s briefing, rejected his assertion that Israel does not want to occupy Gaza, calling it “merely a deception to conceal his plans for forced displacement.” ... https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/10/world...nyahu.html ( https://archive.ph/uKuQa)
That's true I remember Rafah as being the "last Hamas stronghold" earlier in this year, so Hamas' statement in this case rings true. NYT here also did that thing "according to local health officials, who do not distinguish between civilians and combatants", which also seems true of IDF actions haha. It is also weird that the casualty numbers reported seem to be stuck at 60,000 since last year. I've seen estimates as high as 400,000. Who knows. It's sad.

One side thinks suicide bombings, kidnapping, rape and murdering babies is justified.

I dont want to commit a thread to this, so I'll just throw this here.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/8/11...ts-in-gaza
Quote:The drone attack late on Sunday hit a tent for journalists positioned outside the main gate of Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital, killing seven people. Among the dead were Al Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Qreiqeh and camera operators Ibrahim Zaher, Moamen Aliwa and Mohammed Noufal.
A sixth journalist, Mohammad al-Khaldi, a local freelance reporter, was also reported killed in the air attack. Reporters Without Borders said three more journalists were wounded in the same strike.
Just hours earlier, al-Sharif, 28, had posted on X about Israel’s “intense, concentrated bombardment” on eastern and southern Gaza City. Known for his fearless reporting from northern Gaza, he had become one of the most recognisable voices documenting the ongoing Israeli war in the enclave.
While I dont really trust the journalistic integrity of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Al Jazeera, they didn't deserve this.
I really don't care how much they peddle the genocide claptrap, or selectively report on the Israel offensives, you dont kill journalists.
What's the other side?
Reuters is usually balanced enough to throw on an IDF statement...
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-eas...025-08-11/
Quote:The Israeli military said in a statement that Al Sharif led a Hamas cell and "was responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians" and Israeli troops, citing intelligence and documents it said were discovered in Gaza as evidence but which it did not disclose.
Israel denies deliberately targeting journalists, saying many of those killed in Israeli airstrikes were members of Islamist militant groups, working under the guise of the press.
Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee posted undated photos on X that appeared to show Al Sharif with Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the Hamas October 2023 attack on Israel, and other Hamas officials. Reuters could not verify their authenticity.
It was not clear when the purported images were taken nor how the military acquired them. Adraee wrote that only a "terrorist" would be seen with Hamas officials, without providing any context as to why Al Sharif, a journalist, had allegedly met them.
Oh, just post the damn X Post, Reuters, you'd do it if Israel looked evil...
So I found the photo in question looking on Avichay Adraee's X feed, and another image of a mural of Hamas for everyone to draw their own conclusions.
So thats what the world is condemn-mourning, a guy who happily smiles as he takes a selfie with probable Hamas leaders. I suck with faces, but they might even be in the same order. Center one looks like the same person. Maybe the left one too.
While a smiling X Post isn't necessarily incriminating, it leads one to believe he's a Hamas military asset, a state media type asset. At least "Joyfull sympathizer."
But we'll see whats more important...
His courageous war zone reporting or selfie with monsters - that obviously have no trouble with starvation.

I wonder if anybody around those college campuses crying Free Palestine and Queers for Palestine (Chickens for KFC) have ever seen some of the propaganda aimed at kindergarten children.
It's some of the most disturbing stuff I've ever seen, so much so I didn't ever want to be the one to start posting vids.

That’s hilarious!
Grok used the ICJ, UN, and Amnesty International as sources LoL
It ended up the same as if he used MSNBC, Al Jazeera and the Gaza Health Ministry.
That’s the problem with AI, garbage in garbage out.
