thank you this is a good answer and similar to what i believe but i feel that science is not the only tool in the bag as it were, the other tools however cannot be empirically delineated and taught as well as they can be learned, because if they could then they would be science! and that describes my opinion of the reality of what sirius has listed in the op.

Sent you a PM on how it's done.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

I mean the absence of scientific evidence doesn't prove nonexistence.

It might just reflect our current limitations in observation.

All good, andy06shake.

The problem is that science only moves as fast as the crowd, and frankly, there are a lot of people slow to move their minds.

It takes a fast mind and a light heart to enter into the supernatural, metaphysical, or dare I say--spiritual? It's an individual journey.

Most people get into mysticism because they hear about superpowers or contacting spirits or whatever Harry Potter shit. Mysticism helps you see and feel the interconnectedness, they're just tools of perception, not gimmicks to be paraded around at parties.

Not every lama, yogi, saint, or jedi master is going to stick their neck out for ridicule and scorn--pearls before swine. The loss of friends comes with the territory--I am an expert butterfly net dodger myself!

Some people only want to share closeness and intimacy just as that, not with the world. Some things are a secret garden, not for the slow, clumsy, disrespectful, and destructive.

Science may catch up, but people have enough problems communicating with what we already have. There is so little connection already there, good luck with the telepathy when we argue even in our understood languages.

I could teach you to play a game called "Black Magic" that may make you think telepathy is real through.

It's been proven many times even recently. Of course you will have to go pick on the autistic children and their parents also and tell them the communication isn't real

Um Mindsight Mindsight. So have you come across um the Sai games that just recently was um
18:39
it was like a big conference called Sai games. They just started organizing. Maybe it's a second year running.
18:44
I've never heard of this. Yeah, it's extraordinary. So um there's one lady um her name is um
18:52
oh gosh um her daughter is Leo um but her name I
18:58
will remember. So she she just demonstrated her abilities. Um I should
19:04
know. So she on side games she showed people that she could you know she had
19:09
like triple blinds. So she had glued patch. Yeah. Like glued patches that you
19:14
would medical that you will glue it. Then she wore a blind patch that you can't see through anyway. The ones that
19:20
are foam patches. Yeah. And also I think she wore the one of those flight patches underneath. So
19:26
ong glued flight patch. And then like a sleep mask or something. Sleep mask. Yeah. And then you know she
19:32
had that and she could read anything you have.

Anyways the best candidate I've heard of is "The Telepathy Tapes." I only heard it in passing on Joe Rogan so massive heaps of salt, but a lot of people talk about it.

Let's all have a look shall we? I haven't looked into it myself. Already experienced it myself and don't care to contribute to the science of the world. I'll leave it to the experts.

I get what you're saying, and if it works for you, then don't try and fix it.

And i imagine that mysticism can feel deeply personal and meaningful.

But I think "supernatural" is often just unexplained natural.

Science isn't slow, people are cautious, which protects us from wishful thinking.

The connection doesn't need telepathy, and like you suggest, we struggle enough with kindness, honesty, and listening right here.
