The short answer is that there is no scientific evidence that telepathy, as in literal mind-to-mind communication, without any sensory input, is real.

Not necessarily.

I mean the absence of scientific evidence doesn't prove nonexistence.

It might just reflect our current limitations in observation.

Science is powerful, but it isn't the sole arbiter of truth or reality.

It is, however, the only tool we have in the bag that will allow us to comprehend at least a fraction of the universe and the reality we think we experience.
