Once  I realized that the entire effort to 'measure' intelligence was born of 'target seeking' I felt in my gut it would turn into a terrible tool... that will forever be used against people.

Intelligence itself isn't dangerous.

What matters is the purpose behind it.

Used with empathy and justice, intelligence heals.

Used with fear or greed, it harms.

Our history shows us that when we discover something, or plum the depths of knowledge... the results are affected by "intent."

The 'heated' reason for the IQ 'theory' was to ensure that industrial commerce had 'trainable' workers, that adequately-trained workers were the fruit of 'schools.'

As a result everything in the 'measurement' of 'intelligence' had to fit a molded purpose "perfect" for 'useful smartness.'

Useful... as in "of use to ?"

It was never scientific 'need'... it was a 'social order' thing.

Intelligence can only be appreciated in use.

Intent is everything.
