This will be the USA equivalent  of the suaz crisis.  Suaz broke the back of the British  Empire and this will break the usa.

The fact that former US allies has broken with it on this is telling.

Well, Trump slapped tariffs on everyone. Mentioned that NATO was obsolete. Insulted the soldiers of other countries that bled and died for America's adventure in Iraq. Calls everyone a coward. Attacked a powder keg unthreatened and points the finger at everybody else.

I'm sure the "former allies" may be excused for taking a pass on Trump and Bibi's madness.
There is one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind.

You see a decline in America as a superpower? Unless im misunderstanding decadent hegemony. America and israel not only took out a country's leadership they took out the entire meeting deciding the future leadership and did it without a single known boot on the ground. Where is the decadent hegemony? The only miscalculation I can see is that the Iranian government would take it lying down after they did it. Instead, Iran irrationally hit everything in the entire area with all they had and it was nothing. Iran is probably having a civil war as we speak.

My main questions if you'd be so kind:

What specifically was irrational that you witnessed recently?
What miscalculations in the conflict have you personally calculated?
Where is the evidence of decadent hegemony or is it wishful thinking?

The only real concern is the cost of American weapons to keep Iran contained and the ballistic missiles under Yazd mountain.

Funny the same people are ignoring that Iran is putting the squeeze on the west with only one little straight.  And Iran is killing people in their own country longing for better human rights in the tens of thousands.  What do the same people think was going to happen with Iran and the west if Iran got working nuclear warheads to on ballistic missiles.  It’s like people want Iran to win and don’t realize Iran winning would be getting nuclear weapons and blackmailing the world as a supporter of terrorism.

Letting Iran get nukes didn’t leave room for very favorable opinions.  I find it odd the same countries complaining about Trump were also many of the same countries willing to pay tribute to Muslim pirates in the 1800’s instead of actually dealing with the problem.

In regards to the suez crisis, *I think thats what you meant* the U.S. chose a diplomatic route in that and put pressure on Britain, France, and Israel while Russia threatened them and they withdrew from Egypt. Egypt didn't fight on its own and not only that the U.S. has had several diplomatic talks with Iran, and even Venezuela, countries are drawing lines in the sand and can't cash their checks when they try to check America but America can cash it apparently right up in their front door of their own homes. *Venezuela got president-napped*

How many times does one try diplomacy before using the stick?

And for the long run, how often has trying to bribe / pay tribute to Muslim terrorists worked for the west?

I bet they think if we left right now Iran would just let every ship through without stealing from their corporations because thats whats going on right now is iranian piracy against other countries not against the US but against them and America is standing against that but nah lol America bad. Who needs enemies when you have allies like these Biggrin
