Trump says he bombed Iran
(2 hours ago)Orby Wrote: Thing is the Yanks can print as many Dollars as necessary, it's only paper and they make them. Just give 'em what they want as long as they hand over the nukes, then everybody is happy.

We can print as much money as we want, but it’s not without consequences. That causes inflation and devalues existing dollars.

How many times do we have to do that for the Middle East? They don’t even import much US goods. We don’t even need their oil. They can figure out their own region, it’s not my problem.
So what's Today's latest Propaganda/Lies BS from Iran?

They're propagandizing everything aren't they   Biggrin

Trump Administration Secures Iran Peace Deal with Nuclear Dismantling
Last updated
The U.S. and Iran signed a memorandum Sunday, digitally penned by President Trump, Vance, and Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, to halt conflict sparked by U.S. strikes last winter. It requires Iran to scrap its nuclear program, eliminate enriched uranium under oversight, stop ballistic missiles and terror funding, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, with sanctions eased only after verification. Oil prices dropped below $79 a barrel on hopes of smoother flows, while Trump dismissed payout rumors and critics like Obama drew parallels to the 2015 deal; a formal signing is set for Friday in Geneva.

Everyone is.

We set their nuclear program back decades last summer when we obliterated the nuclear program, remember?

This new offensive was only supposed to be a few days or weeks with a new government in Iran, remember?

Strait won’t be closed more than a week or two.

Unconditional surrender.

I really do not see Iran just giving in without some immediate payout in some form. And I am not going to take Eric Daugherty at his word.
I believe Iran does want this to end just as we do but I have little faith in how this is going to go about coming from any government. I will wait to see what happens on Friday, but we all can see the timing and how that oddly seems to always happen when oil trades and markets move.
Oh and this current administration has a nasty habit of lying often so with a tiny grain of salt is how i'll take it thank you very much.

Well I can't see the problem in getting your printing presses running a bit quicker. Cut a few trees down keep the Mullahs happy. printing money seems to be the in thing these days. Quantitive easing or something over here after Bernie Madoff made off with the pyramids schemes dough.

The US can't endlessly print money without serious economic consequences.

And Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons to hand over.

The dispute is over enriched uranium and Iran's ability to potentially build a bomb.

You should also consider that any deal will also require international verification.

Not just a one and a half page aggremment between Trump, Iran, and Israel.

The Yanks can print as much dosh as they want so long as everyone in the arabs world uses it for buying and selling carbons, or at least someone said that how it works. in their economies. A few more planes worth aint gonna matter if it appeases the Mullahs and Trump. I can't see the problem. Whether Bibi and the Rev Guard agree is yet to be seen  Lol Thumbup

I told you what the problem is, it devalues existing currency and causes inflation.

Quantitive easing at least primes the pumps of the markets. I’m not a fan of the practice, but at least there’s an arguement it helps our economy.

That’s a far cry from printing hundreds of billions for a foreign nation.

The US doesn't just "print as much dosh as it wants" without consequences, Orby.

And the $$$$$ is strong because of trust, not magic.

Print too much and you get inflation, higher interest rates, and global pushback...

Even if oil is traded in dollars.

And the "Arab world uses dollars for carbon/oil so it's free money" is the old petrodollar myth.

It's still trade.

And it's still debt.

Again, there's no confirmed bomb to "hand over."

It's about enrichment levels monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
