You realize that Mueller found no evidence of Trump, and his campaign as a corporate, comitting criminal conspiracy with Russia?

... and I think that the deputy US Attourney General, Rosenstein, was the one who gave Mueller the task, which had nothing to do with other crimes in the USA.

Mueller still didn't find Trump guilty, and Mueller clearly wasn't picking on the big wimp.

Mueller was tasked with a legal investigation, and he did it. It took time because he was being thorough and looking for any evidence. In the end, there wasn't evidence that would convict Trump personally, nor his campaign as a corporate.

You are only being pedantic because you are repeating Trump's petulant whingeing, rather than just looking at the facts of what occurred.

Trump was always vindictive and paranoid, and now it's worsening. If you looked at him sideways he'd throw a tantrum and insult you at every opportunity. Sometimes at random. He's so used to throwing people under the bus now that he does it before they have even done or said anything.

It's not 'pedantic' to insist that the correct terminology is used because it matters.   Mueller being told, or initiating himself, an investigation into fake collusion between Trump and Russia MATTERS.   If he was told to investigate by Trumps political opponents, it matters.  If he himself did it, it matters.

The correct terminology in a Federal legal investigation is that defined in Federal statute.
