I now see Trump said, 45 min. ago, now he will allow peaceful protesting but he didn't say that before. Someone obviously had to explain to him that he was taking away people's constitutional rights.
Trump has been saying all along that peaceful protests are fine.
This is not a new development.
Trump is a big proponent of the Constitution.
Maybe you need a different news source.

I use many varying news sources and they all said the same thing, that Trump did not deferentiate or say that peaceful protests would be allowed. Not sure what source you are looking at...Fox News maybe?

And should anyone think these riots are innocent, organic demonstrations please think again.
There is a lot of money going into these, there is a lot at stake. It may surprise some at where the money is coming from.....

Quote:On the surface, the riots appeared to be a spontaneous grassroots uprising — but a closer look reveals a web of ideological coordination, hidden funding streams, and the involvement of international propaganda networks.
Our investigation uncovers that these riots were not merely spontaneous acts of dissent, but rather part of a globally-connected, ideologically-driven movement — linked to a network of radical nonprofits, communist parties, and pro-China influence operations. The common thread? Billionaire activist Neville Roy Singham.

One of these groups, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, Los Angeles, has received millions in government funding.
Sorry, I cannot read this one anymore, but IIRC it is from 2023.

How can you determine that if you don't know who the protesters are? Can you get court transcripts of who these people are so we can identify them then we can follow the money?
It's all propaganda without facts and evidence.
BTW, from your source " (This article is based on an X Thread By DataRepublican)"

Sending people to prison without a trial is unconstitutional (whether they’re citizens or not).
Also, levying tariffs is a function of congress. The president is allowed to in national security scenarios, but I think issuing tariffs for the whole planet is a hard case to make.
Also, he’s gone after colleges because of students criticism towards Israel.
he may not be the worst offender based on past presidents, but that’s a low bar. I wouldn’t call him a big proponent of the constitution though.

Are you sure about that?
He doesn't regard himself being bound by the Courts, either

"US President Donald Trump made a startling admission on Sunday: he is unsure if he is bound by the law of the land as he pursues his mass deportation strategy by any means necessary Trump was speaking in an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press, which aired Sunday. Moderator Kristen Welker asked the president if noncitizens in the United States deserve due process — a standard the Supreme Court has upheld for decades.
"I don't know, I'm not a lawyer"
So, he doesn't know about due process?
And he is your POTUS?

Get some of the detained agitators to admit they are funded by those organizations/people for a lighter sentence...it's called plea deal for evidence.

Most of those detained would say what they do get from working hard isn't much of a pay check.
