Ok, but that's a missdominer, is it not?
Hardly a felony offence.
With the kicker being that not all undocumented immigrants are criminals.
Because many of them came legally and simply overstayed their welcome.
Which is a civil violation as opposed to the criminal sort.
Hence, labeling them all as criminals simply does not fit.
And what about the ones who are asylum seekers, who may have crossed without documents but are protected under international and U.S. law?
Calling them all "criminals" is legally and morally inaccurate, same as implying they are "invading".
And doing so, well, the reasoning behind such is rather synonymous with what Hitler perpetrated towards the Jews.
After they are finished with demonizing the illegal aliens, rounding them up and shipping them off to god knows where, my bet is they will come after the elderly and mentally infirm.
And after that, it will probably be the obese, or the homeless, if there are any still left standing by that time around.
A very slippery slope.

It's somewhat akin to seeing your next door neighbor doing better than you, and beginning to leech off thier services, cable, Internet, you put your garbage in thier cans, you steal deliveries from thier porches. Run a hose and tap into thier water, LOL, or do like one past neighbor I didn't even talk to ever, plugged into my backyard outlet when I was out of town for a week, without asking.
LOL I got home late and walked onto my deck and saw the extension cord, I unplugged it and cut off the plug. He could have asked, he could have left a note. Doing so without asking permission
Reminded me of when we used to swim in our neighbor's pool as kids; they were fine when we asked. But they were rightfully and genuinely upset when we once went swimming without asking
It's like I used to give ashtray change to the homeless while driving all the time, but if one of them broke into my car and rummaged through and took my change Id be pissed off, hell I'd beat the hell out them if I caught them

Nothing 'simply overstayed' about it.
It's a CRIME to do so.
They do it knowing they are here illegally.
Line jumping criminals.
They should all be kicked out.

"Crossing the border illegally is considered a federal crime and can be classified as a misdemeanor for a first offense or a felony for subsequent offenses. The penalties can include fines and imprisonment, depending on the number of violations."
Just as we have no clue who the good ones are, we don't know how many go back and forth.
Bottom line, there are ways to do this legally.
Just cause someone is desperate, it doesn't give them the right to exploit an unknowing neighbor, it just doesn't.

Again, it's a civil offence.
And if not, list the criminal act, please?
What happens when they decide to kick you out or put you down?
Or people who are your family members or friends?
Who have jobs, and lives, and a family to support.
Again it will all end in tears, and they will always need another target.
Because once you let the genie out of the bottle, its not going back in, or quietly into the night.
May as well give the ICE mob brown shirts and jackboots right now.

And desperate people do desperate things.
They simply cannot help themself in that department.
Again, just my opinion, got to be a better way.
But deporting 11 million people is going to be painful in the extreme.
If at all possible without causing serious internal troubles.
Plus, who is going to do all the work that these people are no longer there to do?
American citizens are going to want proper wages, health insurance plans, holidays, and the like.
A recipe for disaster.

I thought Trump was trying to accumulate more of those.
As opposed to driving them towards active rebellion.
The fact is, California has strongly opposed many of the federal immigration enforcement actions and has passed laws to limit local cooperation with ICE.
They dont want ICE there, certainly not in the manner they are acting.
Well, that's a step towards secession of the state.
Please.... Cali is struggling with federal help... and a huge GDP, For transportation specifically, federal funds historically covered 47% of spending (2012–2017), a useful benchmark
Reliance on Federal Funds: In FY 2022, 21.9% of California’s state and local government revenues came from federal transfers
Quote:California isn’t "broke" in the sense of being unable to function—it’s the fifth-largest economy globally, with a balanced 2025-26 budget. However, long-term liabilities like pensions and unemployment debt, plus local budget gaps, pose significant challenges. Economic growth is strong, but uneven job gains, affordability woes, and potential federal funding cuts could test resilience. The state’s fiscal health isn’t dire, but it’s not carefree either.
While exact figures depend on the definition and scope, federal funds likely support roughly 40–60% of California’s infrastructure spending in recent years, with transportation historically at 47% and current IIJA contributions suggesting a higher share for specific categories like highways, transit, and broadband. This is a rough estimate, as total infrastructure costs (including unmet needs) are much larger, and state, local, and private funds play significant roles.

As a nation without an army, good luck with that
The protests are minuscule for a reason, because LA is full of legal immigrants, and they, too, say FTN on coming here illegally.
Plenty of legal immigrants feel this way, even those from Mexico and South America

1 - Again it's a CRIME.
2 - They won't come after me ... I'm not an illegal alien.
3 - They aren't an 'ICE MOB' ... they are federal law enforcement doing what they are supposed to in order to keep us safe and enforce the law.

These things have a habit of growing and getting out of hand, just saying.
I just think it has the potential to go breasts up rather sharpish.
And deporting 11 million people, which is the number across the nation, or thereabouts, is simply untenable at best, if you wish them to remain alive and well.
