It’s definitely an embarrassment.  Wishful thinking, but this is supposed to be a country of laws that protects people from bodily harm and their property. Living free isn’t living free if you got to bow down to a group of punk rioters.

Yes when dumbasses destroy public and private property because they won a football championship is embarrassing as hell to the NFL and most cities. What is particularly interesting is that I've been observing the situation since the very beginning, and it seems to exhibit a dual nature. Initially, the union activists gathered to peacefully speak about and protest the arrest of David Huerta, which was commendable. 

However, the atmosphere shifted as some speakers began to criticize capitalism and began to spew Marxist dogma. I was listening in the background, and it made me turn my head and watch. I'll try and find the clip because when I heard the socialistic comments, I was like What the hell? It had nothing to do with Heurta's arrest; it was a complete turnoff. Even the other speaker put his hand on the guy's back, suggesting that's enough.

But the speakers finished, there were lots of union supporters that broke up peacefully and dispersed pretty much, and then a different element and attitude emerged, it's like it was waiting for the right moment, and it devolved to burning cars

What justification is there to shoot (NLA) at a woman, walking alone and at such close range?
 

A woman walking home alone was shot at close range by what appeared to be non lethal ammunition by officers on the street during the anti-Ice protests in Los Angeles. A witness caught the moment on camera and ran to help the woman before they were shot at again and told to move.

Regardless, that could have definitely been handled better. 

She could be due financial compensation, good thing the other girl was filming and had supplies to take of the injury

If it comes to pass that his 3,000 a day quota will cause expensive court costs, he may have to disband ICE and let the non-criminal hard working people do what they do best, take low paying jobs nobody else wants and be valuable contributing members of society again.

Yep, I read that in the same live feed, and here's the area involved...

Here is a map of the downtown area of Los Angeles where mayor Karen Bass announced an overnight curfew, which was imposed for 10 hours from 8pm to 6am local time, after days of protests.

Late last night local time, the LAPD wrote on X that “multiple groups” continued to congregate within the designated downtown curfew area. “Those groups are being addressed and mass arrests are being initiated,” it said.

So, I can understand gangs, possibly armed and dangerous, being stopped and arrested. Perhaps they could have just arrested her, too. All this for a one-square-mile area in the downtown area that the curfew involves.
