I have to add this as Pink Floyd are my all time favourite band and this performance of Comfortably Numb with David Gilmours guitar 2nd solo is about as good as it gets.
I was actually at this exact concert (20th October 1994, Earls Court, London), and I dont mind admitting, I had tears in my eyes at the end of this.

This is my favorite Mad Season song!   From what I’ve read, and I bought the book Angry chair.  He never got over Demri.

It is sad to think someone so talented and deep died alone, I get it though.  Watching others go through this addiction is unbearable to witness, and if they don’t want help, they don’t!

I resonate with his music not because I ever did H, but my ex got into it, and the abuse, damage, ruin that it left behind affected my son and myself so badly that I never thought we’d crawl out of it.  After years of therapy, and church I’m at a place where I can feel free from it.

i see lawsuits for H addicts to sue big pharma for ox y, and it seems so unfair.  The real victims of the addiction are the surviving relatives.

They were lovers of love, addiction, drinking they loved each other so much. He was so not over her. You really have to want to quit addictions. People can’t take the withdrawal. When I quit my nicotine addiction 7 years ago I felt that I lost my best friend. Now I feel great.
