Grunge?

They tried to fight the label being invented, but no one corporate was comfortable calling them "punk rock"...

Even when they trolled the audience over the song they absolutely loathed playing... 

I feel almost bad for the UK audience they mocked, but this is BEST live performance of this song ever destroyed.

ETA:   I bought the same tinwhistle as -- I think it is -- Doug McCrae, which is a Bflat.   I practice this melancholy tune about once a week.   I'm getting better.  I might be ready to buy the backing track.

I really like the tune of that masterpiece. I love that you are playing that!

Layne Staley was sad.

Died on the exact Same day as Cobain, April 5th, but wasnt found for two weeks, and weighed less than 90 pounds when they found him.

I liked some AIC, but too much self loathing over your incurable drug addiction gets old quickly. Returning to the helpless motif of no self-control is like "Drug Addict Emo."   

Probably the reason why my favorite album they ever did was the first one with William DuVall singing, Black Gives Way To Blue.

They also went a more social commentary route after they all died or quit doing drugs. Even more humorous. This was the last song that i remember enough to post. And most people never heard it because they were Old AIC, where it still kinda sounds right, but doesnt have "it" anymore. 

Even if the message is far better than the heyday of, "Lets all do heroin and kill ourselves!"
