Andy - the Quote button seems a little sticky?
But I see Trump claimed today at the Knesset that he ended the war in Azerbaijan. Along with claiming that the US was "dead" under Obama and Biden..... He's off his head.
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope. Nothing...

I don't like the man, but yes he has been involved in 7 wars/conflicts and yes improvement or resolution has been seen. I use the word 'conflicts' in addition to 'wars' because some of these are not 'wars' in the sense that most of us think of. Calling them all 'wars' is conflating what they actually are in some cases. Credit where it is due. Not all 'wars' like we think of ... but minor wars and conflicts for sure ... The seven conflicts Trump has been involved in that have been ended or downgraded according to Trump ... Cambodia and Thailand Kosovo and Serbia DRC and Rwanda Pakistan and India Israel and Iran Egypt and Ethiopia Armenia and Azerbaijan And of course now we have #8 - a real war - Israel and Gaza. Yes he has been involved with all of those conflicts. Yes those conflicts have either ended or been downgraded. Yes some of those conflicts continue, but not at the level they were at prior to his intervention. In the case of Pakistan and India, Trump threatened massive tariffs on both if they didn't knock it off. They stopped. I consider this resolved. In the case of Israel and Iran, Trump bombed the Iranian nuke plants. Iran won't ever stop but Trumps intervention did bring an end to the open warfare that was happening at that time. In the case of Egypt and Ethiopia he held discussions, but Ethiopia continued the dam anyways. They stopped fighting but Ethiopia did what it wanted and didn't negotiate. I don't call this 'resolved' by Trump but instead I consider this Egypt giving in. In the case of DRC and Rwanda he DID get the agreement to stop, but skirmishes sometimes break the peace. I consider this mostly resolved. In the case of Armenia and Azerbaijan, he did get the peace agreement but it also needs backup oversight. To be expected. I consider this mostly resolved. In the case of Cambodia and Thailand, he did get the peace agreement but both sides are snippy about the other not fulfilling the agreement. I consider this mostly resolved. |
