I did say I could be wrong and was going on my intuition. Not surrounding the facts claimed or story morphed. He has plenty of supporters and detractors. I watched and listened to him when he first appeared and it was the impression I got right from the get go.

I'm more in the Vallee camp maybe.

Sure, me too, but then again, which Vallee you talking about, because after 75 his BS reached stratospheric levels, besides being completely surrounded by CIA ppl. So even this guy is full of strangeness also.

I think some people in the subject, are stuck regurgitating the same old nonsense over and over, repeating the same stories to sell another book or podcast. Other than the recent blurry thermal videos of 'UAPs' we've had no real juicy stories for a while.

Well, I'd say my eyes are pretty firmly open, and I've been interested in this topic for longer than most. I only see people jumping on the band wagon to make a few bucks of the UFO/UAP phenomenon, with nothing ever really being 'disclosed' 
The same stories going round and round, being dragged up by a new generation who've never seen them. It been about 80 years since the modern UFO phenomenon and we still have no real tangible evidence.

Well it appears there is a resurgence in the interest in Lazar's account, so some things will never be put to rest.

I have it here, I saved somewhere. Man,  that is not ours, there is a video by Michael Haselman, and several ppl filmed UFOs there, it was common knowledge that they were appearing there. Not only on wednesday as Bob said.

I have a difficult time believing the Lazar story.  Have followed it along time, but never got a good feel about it.  To be fair, I seldom believe conspiracy stories without very clear convincing evidence that may be proven by multiple vetting.

But he did have a semi-knowledgeable description of the Area 51 workings.  So did many others too. 

He may even believe his own story, real or not.  There are psychological accounts of people that may pass  lie-detection tests, because they believe their own story, true or not.

If my opinion conflicts with others, it is just my personal opinion.

This was the problem that I had with the Lazar story. If the simple things like education, friends, and teachers doesn't add up and appears false, then how can you take his 'Area 51' story as fact?
The guy is talented and does appear to 'believe' his own story, which hasn't changed much over the years, but so far no 'S4' has ever been seen or talked about by anyone other than Bob, his credentials are just pure fabrication, and he seems to lack any real knowledge of gravitational physics, which you'd think would be a must for the job he claimed he had??

Sounds like someone who was given a new identity but then became famous.

The details were not worked out far enough to be truthful beyond a "usual" scrutiny to get a relocation/identity job done efficiently enough to stand up over time.

Credibility is the defining factor of any truth he apparently shared.

The trouble with that idea is everything about Lazar's early schooling and home life is known, it's his college/higher education from places like Caltech and MIT that's pure fiction. If he had 'Above Top Secret' clearance, he's attempts at fabricating his qualifications would have been found out during the vetting process.
