Multiple witness, close range, daylight UFO sighting reported by Fate Magazine.
Very strange object outside house causes 'fearless' dog to 'whimper and howl' - it then broke off its chain and 'tore through the front porch screen door' and cowered under the dining room table.
As the family watched the UFO depart the dog broke back out through the screen door and ran down the road 'howling in terror'.
