Mimicking nature is doing physics in the most efficient form, there is no errors involved. It's computerized flight with high pression, the craft isn't steered as much as directed to perform an action. So a declarative system.

If we are speculating, then it would depend on the type of propulsion is being used and what Earth forces may affect the craft, such as winds, thermal vents, etc.

I remembered now! I saw wriggling/zigzagging "satellites", thought about this thread and forgot about it. 

This is still weird, just seeing the Faitima link makes me nervous. I'm going to go back to pretending this is all just upper stages of rockets and not think about this thread.

Have found the thread I wanted to bump, just recently received a report of exactly this behavior which glowed at each apex of the pendulum.

Hadn't heard anything about this for ages so thought I'd post.

Full details on the way but it's a multiple witness (some separate) from northern England.

exactly. my idea of propulsion is exactly that. UFOs or at least those orbs do not have own engines onboard. Instead they are being carried by the beam. Back in ATS days I expressed that notion.

Objects are being lead and supported by some sort of exotic beam...Once inside the beam an object is being 'dissolved' on it's tip, making the object being 'spread' over larger area of space-time where it is being thin out reducing it's weight. Like one would move a flashlight spot pointed to the wall...the speed of the object then only limited on how fast one can move the flashlight. Of course that would imply a beam emitter, which could be either in orbit or beneath the ocean surface like in case of Nimitz incident.

Mate that sounds like exactly the one I saw with a friend in the mountains of Spain in the late nineties - it covered a truly vast amount of sky in about six moves and glowed each time it reached its apex.

I've reported it before but it looked 'organic' (and more like intelligent plasma) than anything else.

Am currently involved in a bull run in Spain so you can imagine it's pretty intense lol - your post really sounded like my experience though!
