Trump is in talks with Russia to end the war

Oh dear, better post a meme.

And the irony:

Quote:“That’s a fake quote,” said Donald Robertson, author of “How to Think Like a Roman Emperor: The Stoic Philosophy of Marcus Aurelius,” in an email to the DCNF.

Stephen Hanselman, author of “The Daily Stoic,” pointed out that it resembles other statements found in “Meditations.”

“It’s very loose expansion of what Marcus wrote in The Meditations 4.3 where he says: ‘our disturbances come only from our own opinions … everything that we see will change and no longer exist … the universe is change and life is opinion,'” said Hanselman in an email to the DCNF. “This layering on of ‘alternative facts and truths’ is a current obsession, I’m afraid.”

Also using frozen Russian assets.

It's not up to anyone but Russia and Ukraine to make it happen. Unless, of course, they/we step into a WWIII scenario, but even then, at what cost, and for what outcome, and for how long?

You are misunderstanding I think the war will continue for now, Trump isn't interested in the minerals deal anymore

Supposedly all told they are worth 300-350 billion but it will cost loads, to build the infrastructure to mine them years 8-10.

This was just a vehicle for the US to recoup some of the money being spent. Without that, it's up to the EU to make the deal with limited involvement from Trump. More than likely he will hand it off to Rubio if the US is involved at all. Trumps has other business to attend too.

Pretty sure using frozen Russian assets to finance going forward isn't going entice the Russians to talk anyway

Breaking. King Charles meets Zelensky at Sandringhàm.

Not wearing a suit!

Charles shouted at him "How dare you stand in my presence inappropriately dressed. It's disrespectful to the Crown! Get out you peasant"!

Actually, no, that didn't happen. But anyway....

Where did Putin offer him anything but aluminum, must have missed that.

But again the minerals rights deal was just a vehicle it's just 350 billion and will cost some billions to extract in Ukraine makes perfect sense in a capitalistic world to buy it cheaper and have it for its end uses quicker

It's OK Starmer and his "Coalition of the Willing" hell that sounds like a Monty Python skit.

Tell me about Starmer I don't even think Ive seen him speak once.

Respectfully it will take more than the "Coalition" to negotiate peace without giving up the lost territory. I sincerely hope Im wrong I hope it does work and Ukraine and Europe get the maximum deal, I just don't see it happening.

Which means more war.. Good God yall, what is it good for? absolutely nothing...

He's Labour. On domestic politics, I don't like him.

But, he is being very impressive in this matter.

Come on Politico is bought and paid for by USAID funds LOL but like I suggested

again the minerals rights deal was just a vehicle for peace talks no more no less it's just approximately 350 billion and will cost some billions to extract in Ukraine

Makes perfect sense in a capitalistic world to buy it cheaper from Russia and have it for its end uses quicker.

Trump saved America billions and we have access to rare earth minerals much quicker when life gives you lemons make lemonade and go on

The more one thinks about it, it's easy to see where the Left and Zelenskyy realized if they sign a deal with Trump he gets the credit, and might as well jettison him and try it without him firat
