Trump doing something that's hilarious without really a way to get irritated about it yet, because its ridiculous. Not like he's trying to annex Austria or The Czech Republic or anything.

Are we going to drill there? Greenland has 175 billion barrels waiting to be sold. For context, Saudi Arabia has 268 billion. So there's black gold beneath the reindeer and sorta Eskimo people. They also have one the world's richest deposits of rare earth elements. Like what the Chinese want.

I don't think Denmark will sell, though.

They banned oil exporting over climate change years ago, and they know what value they have.

This isn't Manhattan for beads, Trump, Denmark isn’t stupid. They should tabulate the value of their even unexploited assets and figure the cost of 175 billion barrels of oil at 75 dollars a barrel. And then put the price tag in the tens of trillions.

"One USA GDP" for Greenland.

And we could actually make it green with the right kind of effort.

Oh that's encouraging, let's keep military action against (current) NATO ally Denmark on the table for control of oil reserves and mining rights, I'm guessing. Are we bringing back lebensraum or something?
