I haven't had a lot of time to look for video or pics from the attack, however I have only seen the 1 video showing the 4 Tu-95s on fire. That same video seems to be everywhere I hear about this from. While I will say it was a hell of an idea and was executed very well, I don't think I am gonna believe the 41 bombers number until I see a bit more evidence. Too frequently do both sides lie or embellish their attacks to trust anything without evidence.

Also I guess they attacked some passenger trains over night as well...one had a bridge blown onto a train full of civilians...funny how that doesn't seem to be news. Nothing.like killing the civilians of your enemy to get them to stop taking over your country...I am sure that will work and would never just increase public support of the war from Russia's side right?

Probably will increase your support of the War ,tho?

Let's see how successful this audacious raid turns out to be, tho.

Might ruin your whole day, mind.

Any criticism of Russia's massive drone attack on civilians last night?

Not news about the bridge strikes?

Ah, but it is:

https://www.independent.co.uk/bulletin/n...61480.html

Many other MSM reporting it.

Oh, look:

"Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR) reported that a Russian military freight train carrying supplies to Crimea was blown up, but did not claim responsibility for the bridge collapses."
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...

The West will try plausible deniability, but Putin will want a formal declaration of war and withdraw all diplomatic services from all belligerent countries before he gets going. If he does this duck.

He can't even take Ukraine.

Why would he declare war on more nations. Dude just lost like a third of his strategic bombers.

And those losses are more than monetary. They haven't had the factory lines for those bombers for decades, it's not like they can just replace them easily, or even repair for that matter.

Their sole aircraft carrier has been at dock for years now as well.

I don't imagine that Ukraine will "win" this war, but I don't see a way Russia does either at this point. They've culled a generations worth of fighting aged men. They've lost a good portion of their navy, and now bombing air force. Sure they can produce shells, but they have lost most of their means for battling peer nations to a much smaller and less capable neighbor.

The US went half way across the world and occupied two nations at the same time (albeit starting the second a few years later). We had 60k~ injuries and 7k~ deaths and deemed that a total loss. That's such a stark contrast for a modern nation compared to what Russia views as a war that's going well.

He said that Russia hasn't the resources to fight a conventional  war with the West, that's why they have underground bunkers for all of the citizens. Because the war will be full on nuclear exchange. I doubt whether the bombers matter it is the missiles and the subs that will do the damage.

Dude what World do you live in to think they got bunkers for all their citizens and food or resources for something on that scale?

Moscow underground railway system is a bunker. The western governments have told their citizens to stock some food and water and stay indoors. The world I live in is that if idiots want to kill each other, let them go for it just don't involve me.

Just curious as I am now finally off work...nightmare day...has anyone seen any other footage or pictures of any of the damage other than the 4x Tu-95s? Also isn't a Tu-95 like the equivalent of a B-52...why would that be a big win? Why didn't they target the hangars which typically house the prized aircraft? I have questions the more I have time to think things over...does anyone have more to add or is this the extent of it?
