It's a fair argument for healthcare but every other country in the world gets a better price rate for pharmaceuticals If we got the same price it could have an impact on our insurance costs.

If that's the case i don't disagree.

Things like insulin and asthma medications spring to mind there. 

How they can be allowed to take the piss with the price of medications required to keep people alive is beyond me.

At the end of the day, it's about profit for the shareholders.

Quick off OP topic.  The pt trainer came in the morning after the surgery and asked if I felt like doing some pt I said sure, she told me I’d need my walker so I got up walked over and picked it up and carried it to her. She said well maybe you don’t need we proceeded to walk normally for about a football field back and forth down a long hallway.  Even I was surprised.  

The Dr wasn’t quite as amused

I didn’t either. That adds even more logic to our discussion we had earlier on the subject.   I think the proverbial words  “hot seat” and “up a creek with no paddle” applies. He’s screwed big time.
