Quote:Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was hospitalised after being poisoned in a suspected assassination attempt in Moscow, a human rights group has claimed.
The ousted dictator was granted political asylum in Russia after he was toppled ten months ago.
He was reportedly released from a hospital in the Russian capital Moscow following the alleged attack, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights
The group claimed it was told by a private source he "had been poisoned", alleging that the assassination attempt was made "to embarrass the Russian government and accuse it of being complicit" in his death.
The ex-dictator's condition is now said to be stable, the report claimed.

I suppose we should be surprised he did not ""fall"" out a window.

The Russians seem to be very successful at getting at their adversaries through poisoning. One would think visiting foreign dignitaries would be on their guard.

He's been ""visiting"" for a while now.

Kind of hard to feel any sort of sympathy for the war criminal, considering what he and his regime perpetrated.

Ugh, I'll look at your video some other time. Today is a day where I need more positivity.

I can't say I feel sorry for the guy after all the years of his dictatorship in Syria. I imagine he'll be keeping away from door handles and windows for a while.
