Why would you need a military strike if most people are happy Maduro is gone?

I would think Machado would be a clean start where the current VP of Venezuela is just a corrupt politician and a hold out from the Maduro administration trying to hold on to power while ignoring the people’s will.

No.   Pretty much fact.
1/3 of the country left.
It's full of corruption and crime.
The President wasn't really elected.
He's a dictator.

And it's a fact that whoever gets elected there will have Trump/USA to
thank for being in the position of President.   Without our intervention
they wouldn't have the job.    That means they are going to be
ruling with a thankful slant towards US Policy and away from Russia
and China who have their claws in Venezuela now.
I'm not surprised to see people, bots, shills, against US actions.

The evil communist left took a hard blow yesterday morning.

We now have one less communist dictator in the world.

That should make most people happy, even if "polls" don't recognize it.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

We don't know that there is a 'board of directors'.
It hasn't been announced yet just what Trump means by
the USA running things for a while.
He could install a leader for a temporary basis until elections happen.
We don't know yet.
Shrugs..

Why do I have visions of cockroaches clawing under rocks when people bring to light certain actual facts…
1/3 of the country left.
Now those people are celebrating Maduros capture.

And also explain the definition of socialism.

Since you claim i fail to comprehend.

Essentially crap or get off the pot.

The thread is not being derailed.

And you now appear to be unwilling to provide facts or an explanation to support the claims you are making.

Enjoying your holiday is fine but if you refuse to reciprocate, that's up to you.

Have a nice day also.

If you call that a refusal thats again proving you lack some level of common sense. Some time I will make a thread about it and Ill invite you to reply there.

Sinde I know by mind; Definition of socialism is the public control of the means of production. Usually with intend to distribute it for the benefit of all people. (That last part I add myself but for most official sources that first part is it.)

Now off to the races.

How does your claim of a third of the people leaving prove a dictatorship?

Mass emigration also happens due to poverty and sanctions.

Nevermind the regional instability of the entire area in question.

Corruption and crime are indeed real problems.

But that's true in many nations that still have elections.

Including your own, with Trump at the helm.

And the "Wasn't really elected" claim depends on who you ask.

A lot of people did indeed recognise the election, while others didn't.

That's contested, not a settled fact.

And the idea that any future president will owe their job to Trump is a recipe for disaster if ever there was one.

Venezuelan politics are driven mainly by internal power struggles.

Assuming permanent US loyalty ignores history and the nationalism at play.

Nevermind the possible ramifications and backlash for meddling in the first place.

Well done Trump you're a legend over here in the right leaning side of the British isles. I know you read ATS so go and get the whole back yard finished. You have your sphere of influence in Ameicas, Russia has the Former Soviet Union Ukraine etc, China has eastern Asia. No doubt your deal with Putin and Xi will see the world a safer place now with respected spheres of influence. No joke entities like the EU getting involved in something totally out of their WW2 style losing streak interventions. Shame about Taiwan about to go too, yet if the big powers know where each other stands then who gives a monkey on such trivial issues. Job well done, now move on to the next thorn that needs removing  Thumbup
