Personally I believe that this is all about drugs as the #1 as Trump said. Then oil for Russia, China, Iran and Cuba is #2. The USA doesnt need Venezuela oil but Cuba and China does.

The sanctions against the Chavez and Maduro regimes have allowed China to undercut the price of Venezuelan oil.  The rest of the world will have an easier time bidding for it now.

So then are you saying that it would be okay for Ukraine/EU to kidnap Putin and allow Zelensky/EU to temporarily take over Russia's government and oil industry to stabilize that country and/or entire region until the Russian people hold fair and equal elections?

Russia is a nuclear armed state.  Their own people have to deal with their dictators.

Cuba controls the Drug Trafficking from South America and into Asia Pacific as Maduro was their puppet like Hugo was for 25 years. Cuba might be next. 

Most Americans are ignorant of whats in play here and the US MSM Networks are either under some  influence by the Drug Cartels or greased by China, or both.  Just like many US Politicians.

The US definitely needs Venezuela oil because, that will disrupt the oil export game to certain countries that only trade with Venezuela and where the US can pick it up to make money for his rich oil barons and himself, as per usual:

The question that needs to be asked if if Venuzualians had a mostly free country at one time
How did they lose it?

The sale of drugs from Venezuela to the US is miniscule, it's all a lie, most of the drugs come through Mexico and Columbia. It's all about the oil.

That's a risk companies take. Not all investments pay off (though they likely did still profit).

I don't see why American people have to backstop corporations. That is socialism.
