The willfull ignorance to genuine enthusiasm I am seeing here in reaction to what is an objectively insane turn of events is blowing my mind. They just held a whole ass press conference about taking over a country and managing their oil reserves. Trump went on Fox before the presser and listed Mexico as a potential target for a similar operation. A serious conversation can't be had with some of you. A place founded on questioning the government and criticizing military operations is populated by bootlickers.

So now Trump is doing something different and getting results.

Cartels are bad.
Socialist regimes are bad.

It's a damned site better than empty speeches and lies from all other politicians.

You were the one who put words in my mouth. You claimed I said we got their oil for free. Not only did I never say that, I said we bought it all and paid more for it than it was worth, both in funding the war, and controlling the oil after while buying it. We got that control because we "liberated" them.

But I do find it ironic someone who started the whole premise on something I didn't say would like to police the accuracy of the statements I did make. Go google it buddy, it's all there. We controlled their oil and imported quite a bit of it. 

Or, you can continue to think it had something to do with 9/11 or WMD. Which is funny to me, only one country had direct or indirect involvement in 9/11 (officially), and that's Saudi Arabia. Every admin since then has licked their boots.

Maduro is a bad leader.  I am glad he is taken out of power and will be tried for his involvement.  His involvement with the Cartel does effect Americans here at home.

If it did not directly effect our people, I would think it was bad, but it does so I am not going to condemn our administration for this.  Maybe now someone else less corrupt will be elected in that country...I know they have some decent people there, I also know that we may have to assist the new leader to destroy the drug smugglers there.  The leader of that country is not the only bad guy there, but I am sure there are lots of people there that like to see that guy out of power.
