Well. Both are bloviating about tanking the deal, if the other acts a fool and misbehaves.

I mean I know they have a role to play (as in hardball), but I think deal is too important for both countries let alone the world to fail. All the same both sides have to play tough guy to save face so as to not look weak here.

When the USSR broke up, for a time Russia could not pay it's soldiers. Some equipment was sold off to pay them. There was not a lot of security about the military equipment because the security forces weren't getting paid either.

How do you know none of that equipment was not nuclear bombs?

Now of Iran got one of these, they would study it and keep it hidden until they could make more and then move it to somewhere they really hated before using it. They are crazy about weapons use but not that stupid about it.

They may have bought it without the nuclear core just to make transporting it easier. It would not set off Geiger counters that way.

The technology is over 80 years old. It’s not a secret anymore. Some students in college can make theoretical bombs as their thesis.

It accomplished nothing but get 13 US servicemen killed, hundreds of civilians killed ,a school bombed and workd war economic destruction.

Irans uranium is there there, their missles and stockpiles and factories are still there and the regium is not only still standing but reinforced by millions of pissed of iranians who might not like the regium but hate the US more.
