I get it dude, you're frustrated that not every comment in the thread is actionable intel from the ground. Some people are talking about theories and offering opinions.

Im just not as attached emotionally to most of the topics here, but I dig talking war stuff. Dunnigan used to have a message board site, but it's been inactive, and I don't know if he has croaked or what. They still talk Ukraine, but there's bupkis on Iran

I suspect that the reaction a civilian would have to this is a far cry from how any soldier might.

The prime function they each embody is not 'alien' to them.
Marines know - without baggage - what it is they are expected to do...
and their honor is bound to it.

Don't ever expect Marines to be 'demoralized' by media noise... even the disparaging stuff.

But the dissent can be considered insulting...
and things that can be considered insulting,
usually will insult someone.

The ranking Marine issuing this letter wasn't talking to "us"...
it was for active duty Marines under his command...
(Whose family affairs must be kept in order... it's only logical.)

To sacrifice one's freedoms, in order to offer service to a nation...
it's a choice that must be considered from the context of honor...
or it's only "a job"...

Don't forget, the Saudis were also responsible for 9/11.

How did they pull of the controlled demolition of WTC7? Lot of other inconsistencies that day and the following years where I do not see the Saudis involved. I do see a lot of Israel involvement in how that day went with how the media and politics directed it.

Maybe you think it is ok that 3000 Americans died so Israel could drag America into the Middle East? It has changed the region over the past 25 years. A lot of those gains are now in question as hostilities have escalated more recently.

A nation using a war approach for its existence breads more war by its very nature. Trust is shatters as negotiations broken. International energy supply in chaos. Preparations of lock downs underway. Global tensions rising.

My only judgement is on their mission which is to assist Israel in continuing their genocidal wars and expansion, as for what they are thinking and doing, does it really matter to anyone but themselves and their families? That letter explains to them what they should be thinking and doing, not asking them what they are thinking and want to do.
