Trump says he bombed Iran

If they were destroyed and Trump used the word obliterated ... so what?
It says the same thing.   The sites are total'd out and are useless.
Honestly ... it's nitpicking to say destroyed and obliterated aren't the same thing.
Pretty much the same thing to me.

Hundreds of feet of earth and rock on top of whatever nuclear materials may have been there.
It's not going to be detected.
No 'miracle' about it.

And is that your professional opinion, as what exactly?

If the bombs can penetrate the structure and completely and utterly obliterate the entire thing.

Particulate matter is going to be released by a variety of different means.

And if they are storing enriched Uranium, some of that particulate matter is apt to contain.........Uranium.

And yet, as far as I'm aware, they are not detecting anything of the sort.

Why is it so hard for you to entertain the notion that they may have moved a few steel drums of enriched uranium, given the fact that there was recently a line of trucks outside the facility?

I fully expect that they moved as much as they could have.
But it's also true that whatever was there is buried under hundreds of feet of rock and earth and won't be detected.
The bottom line ... whatever was in the site is destroyed.

Destroyed generally means something is ruined or made unusable, but parts or remnants can still exist.

Obliterated means completely wiped out, erased, or removed with almost no trace left behind.

So, something can be destroyed but not obliterated.

There might still be debris, evidence, or a partial structure remaining.

Which is exactly what those satalite images indicate.

According to Oxford languages, it is a technical a synonym when used in the context of "defeat (someone) utterly".

Not so much nitpicking as a known liar telling more porkies.

The sites are down for about 6 months at the latest estimates.

Tell us about obliterated again?

And just think how many resources Iran is going to be willing to commit now, given half a chance?

Trump's going to be cutting Iranian grass every few months.

But he's not defeated or destroyed anyone or anything utterly so...................................

Iran is still there, and hell of a pissed off.

And so are those facilities, damaged as they are.

They are just going to repair them and covertly go to the task of building a working nuclear bomb.

Odd.  I heard the UN say 'years' just yesterday.

He says 'obliterated'.
The intel from four sources says 'seriously damaged' and 'destroyed'.
Same/same.

He's a liar.  He's a bloviator.
But what he said is basically correct according to the intel from USA, Israel, UN, and Iran.

Obliterated vs destroyed.   It's nitpicking.

12 inches of concrete will mask radiation, especially if added shielding material has been applied. The majority of this thread is just painfully delusional idiots bemoaning Orange Man.

So you believe the UN when they say what you wish to hear?

I mean ffs make up your mind.
