Trump says he bombed Iran

And that argument falls apart fast, buddy.

English isn't some recent immigrant language brought over on a boat by one bloke's ancestor.

It's developed over centuries.

And it's had multiple different influences up until the present day.

Claiming your family has been somewhere for 7,000 years doesn't make your views on people any more valid or less offensive.

Sounds like a rather extraordinary claim to be honest, and impossible to prove.

But dismissing entire populations as "primitive" because of historical violence is daft.

By that standard, every nation on Earth is primitive, including us, the USA, the Romans, the ancient Greeks.

All the way back throughout recorded history to ancient Sumer.

And "they can't have nukes" isn't an argument.

They did not have nukes in the first place...

Iran not getting nukes certainly is an argument. And yes all nations are primitive. apes dressed in clothes.

If it'll end the forever war in Ukraine, then possibly.

Again,

Trump wants peace.

Russia wants Ukraine.

Ukraine wants US money and Ukraine.

Why isn't the EU partnering with Ukraine?

I am not an immigrant.

FFS?

You can trace your family to the Middle Stone Age?

Wow.
It's not something I can help but yes, we've been here 7000 years. You being a southerners are likely Norman or angles saxon, immigrant peoples of recent arrival. Nothing particularly bad, just not really native to these isles.

Since this bill is benign and obviously America First, don't you agree we should expand it to include Ukraine and any other country who petitions our government to partner with our military?

LOL
People say we shouldn't be interested in Iran, we're not there.

Well, we're not in Europe either.

So why should the US be funding almost 200 billion to Ukraine?

MURKA!

Biggrin

I like the "apes dressed in clothing" analogy, certainly monkey see monkey do from one generation to the next with the human race.

Same crap, slightly different wrapping paper i suppose.

As far as im aware, commercial DNA tests cannot reliably identify any sort of continuous family line in one place for 7,000 years.

Our history simply does not stretch that far back in that sort of manner or with that kind of accuracy.

I don't even think a Star Trek tricorder could pull off that maneuver.  Lol

I mean, they can estimate genetic similarities with those tests, but not any sort of unbroken residence history.

You should keep in mind Britain has experienced repeated migrations, from the Mesolithic period onwards.

Hunter-gatherers.

Neolithic farmers.

Doggerlanders(not to be confused with the upside-down pineapple people).

The Beaker people.

The Celts, the Romans, the Anglo-Saxons.

The Vikings(that's where my family line enters history), and the Normans...

All came here and chose to stay over the centuries, willingly or by force.

But linking DNA to a language does not exactly gel with any sort of veracity.

And as far as i can establish, the Welsh are primarily descendants of ancient Britons.

Not migrants from Iraq or Turkey, but who knows.

This island is one big mixing pot, and has been throughout recorded history.

I mean a quick Google search clearly shows.

Quote:United States currently has approximately 80,000 to 90,000 military personnel stationed across Europe.

With roughly 68,000 permanently assigned active-duty troops and the remainder made up of rotational and temporary deployment forces.

And they have been there for quite some time as far as i recall...

Ukraine is a strategic partner

Therefore, they should enjoy bilateral military integration and joint development of advanced weaponry with the Pentagon

Just like Israel

It's only fair!

Ukraine might be a bad example. Trump still blames Zelenski for his first impeachment.

Sometimes it's easy to forget that the POTUS has the the mentality of an 8 year old.
