Israel is in a tough spot.

If they don't go all-in with the gazan's, hezboolah, Iran, NOW, and the evil left comes into power in the US, Israel is cooked.


The left won't support, aid Israel.

The left will pay Iran (again) and Israel will be targeted again.

So I can understand Israels desire to eliminate Iran and their proxies.

Trump wants peace.

Israel wants safety.

Iran wants world domination.

I didn't say I was all knowing on all geopolitics. I pointed out a fact that they have received more aid from the US than any other nation. That has had to have happened with the help of the left. And there has been plenty of support from the left towards Israel, hence how they have gotten the most aid.

Israel isn't unique, adjusted for inflation the Middle East has got more aid from the US than any other region. Post Cold War they have gotten most of our attention as well, many wars, over 10t spent. Yet none of those nations have ever sent their soldiers to fight along side ours, not even Israel.

As for the problems there, it's not my problem to solve. There is plenty of conflict in Africa too. Good chance there will be plenty of conflict in Africa and the Middle East towards the end of my life. Many have tried, all have failed.

Why should it be my nations burden to sacrifice troops, taxes and resources for nations that don't fight in our wars, or even buy more goods than our other allies. They take the money buy our weapons and that's it. They don't import our goods.

Your words, not mine. I noted that the whole region has taken us for a ride, not just Israel.

My position is we have more debt than the nation makes in a year, maybe it's time that we get out of other peoples affairs. Plenty on the right have no problem cheering on talking about taking Greenland from Denmark, yet they lost more troops per capita in Afghanistan than we even did. They sent their young after my country was attacked. Sounds like a pretty solid ally to me. 

But alas, I must be some sort of bigot if I don't support sending most of our aid to a region that doesn't reciprocate. Funny that, everyone else is allowed to be critical of any ally, even those who have sacrificed lives. We helped win WWII which benefited Israel as much as any European nation, and we give more to Israel after we helped create it. But that's not enough, I have to give just as much loyalty to them as a nation as my own.

Right now, the political establishment of both the left and the right give lots of aid to Israel. And that probably would have continued forever if it wasn't for extremely hostile rhetoric that people are waking up to. If you bring up facts, people just say you hate Jews.

Plenty of people who support Trump are critical of the Pope, doesn't mean they hate Catholics or Christians. Nor would I try to make that distinction.

Unfortunately wokism has made it's way into the mainstream of both parties. People are hell bent on identifying "hate speech" and "wrong think". Frankly, I find it anti American to imply I can't put my country before another.
