I'm not defending Trump, I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of the Left, who obviously don't have the ability to look in the mirror.

I don't see the use in justifying his actions citing their past behavior.

I'm about 60/40 on his policies. Some I agree with like immigration, his overseas diplomacy sucks. He needs to understand that the U.S is not his private company and he is not the be all and end all and learn to negotiate not intimidate, although I do agree that there are folks who need their ass kicked to figure they're playing with the wrong person.

I don't think just because someone criticizes Trump that makes people leftists.

His fiscal policy is horrible giving him the most debt of any president... That's not conservative by any stretch. The government is buying shares in companies and has bailed out under his leadership, that's socialist. The only thing that would make him right leaning is some of the social policy, which some of that is the least important right now (except closing the border, that was a win). 

There are some metrics he clearly is worse though, back to debt. A quarter of US debt is from his presidencies. Servicing interest payments is going to be the number one federal expenditure in just a few years. 

The reason he got voted in was because of how bad the prior presidents were. All of that was supposed to change, and now his kids are cashing in on his office while he helps out all the donor class before lame duck presidency. 

And of course the wars.
