I think they lifted some on India as well for oil, but that just leads back into my point that we are make the decisions not Iran or it's allies.

Iran needed and still needs to be dealt with. I think the real damage is to Russia and China in this situation sure they may of had some sanctions lifted but Ukraine took out some of Russia's ability to refine and offload and store oil as soon as the sanctions lifted and China is still isn't doing to well financially.

Meanwhile the new oil market here in the United States is booming.

Meanwhile the new oil market here in the United States is booming.

Sure, booming temporarily and furthering the push for other world countries to adopt EV and renewable energy instead. Everything can turn on a dime. Is any of that booming economy trickling down to the people?

LLM says 'No'.

"No, average Americans are not significantly better off despite the booming oil production, as higher gasoline prices continue to strain household budgets and oil profits do not reach the average consumer.  While the U.S. is the world’s largest oil producer, the market is global, meaning domestic production does not shield Americans from international price spikes caused by geopolitical conflicts, such as the war with Iran.

Key factors limiting economic benefit for average Americans include:
  • Global Price Setting: Oil is traded on a global market, so American companies sell their crude to the highest bidder worldwide rather than offering discounted prices to U.S. consumers.
  • Inflationary Pressure: Rising gas prices act as a tax on consumers, with economists estimating that sustained high oil prices can trim about one percentage point from annual consumer spending growth.
  • Wealth Concentration: Financial gains from high oil prices primarily benefit energy production sectors, corporations, and investors, while low-income households feel the squeeze most acutely due to their inability to absorb higher fuel costs.
  • Net Exporter Status: Although the U.S. is a net exporter, it still imports heavy crude for specific refineries and exports lighter crude, meaning domestic supply does not insulate the country from global supply shocks."

To all of you who stood for freedom and the reclamation of Iran over these 100 days; who sacrificed and shielded yourselves against bullets, and who in the past 40 days have braved the risk of bombardment, I send my utmost

While Iranians continue to fight for their freedom, I have come to Berlin to be their voice.

Tomorrow, I will meet with elected officials from various political parties in this country at the German Federal Parliament. I will also hold discussions with the media and meetings with Iranians residing in Germany.
