A report from Reuters found that the tanker Rich Starry ran the blockade after first appearing to turn around in the Strait. Six other ships in the Strait were noted as having also turned around.

Washington's naval blockade of Iran had barely taken effect when a sanctioned tanker put it to the test. The Rich Starry, a Chinese-owned vessel blacklisted by the US in 2023, sailed through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, and it wasn't even the ship's first attempt.
Shipping data confirmed the transit, marking the tanker's second push through the strategic waterway in under 24 hours. Shortly after the blockade came into force, the vessel approached the narrow channel near Iran's Qeshm Island, then pulled back, only to resume its journey hours later. As it waited, it broadcast details of its Chinese ownership and crew, a standard maritime safety practice that in this context also appeared to signal a quiet test of American enforcement intent.

The tanker, formerly known as Full Star, had been sanctioned by the US for allegedly helping Tehran circumvent energy restrictions. It sails under a Malawi flag, though the African nation has stated it does not maintain a registry for oceangoing vessels. Ownership records link it to Full Star Shipping Ltd., which is also tied to a Shanghai-based company under US sanctions.

The Rich Starry was not alone in testing the waters. According to Bloomberg, another tanker, Elpis, entered the Gulf of Oman via the Strait of Hormuz as the blockade took effect. Ship-tracking platforms suggested the vessel had previously docked at an Iranian port, adding another layer of complexity to an already fraught situation.

The basic principle is to use a centrifuge to separate some gaseous uranium into a zone where one part is slightly more enriched than the other part. By repeating and stacking this process many times, eventually 90% can be reached. To build a nuke, this gas does need to be solidified and incorporated into a device that can initiate the chain reaction.

Interesting read, thanks for posting - I didn't even know buying spy satellites was a thing and 

China are certainly being vocal about the current conflct and not trying to hide the fact they and Russia have been giving Iran intel/satellite data to target US troops - In the past they've usually remained silent and kept themselves out of wars and prefered to play the long game.

EDIT: Just seen Trump has been forced into doing a complete 180 on the blockade as they were unable to enforce it - I suppose it's far better than US attacking Chinese vessels and sparking WW3 but it raises the question 'why did the US anounce a policy they(and any other country) were incapable of enforcing?'.

The u-turn makes the US appear weaker than if they'd have heeded advice of allies pointing out the idea was complete lala land unachievable - by all means focus efforts on intercepting the Chinese and Russian ships re-arming Iran as it's an achievable and worthwhile goal but Trump appears to be waving the green/white flag to those shipments (if his government suddenly start sticking to an international policy/strategy longer than 24hours)

China are certainly being vocal about the current conflct and not trying to hide the fact they and Russia have been giving Iran intel/satellite data to target US troops - In the past they've usually remained silent and kept themselves out of wars and prefered to play the long game.

It certainly looks like China isn't staying on the side lines any more when it comes to global affairs, and happy to give the U.S. the middle finger. 

I think the failure of the blockade adds to the belief that this war was a failure in it's conception and management, and has definitely made America look weaker, but at least it hasn't escalated when the Chinese deciding to ignore the blockade.
