Trump says he bombed Iran
Man, how did I miss this story...

Feels like this place has degenerated into ONLY partisan BS, myself included.

Is the MIC/Military running real-time drone swarm drills? Doubtful

if true.... who is behind this?

Are they known conventional combatants or not

Quote:Yes, there was a reported drone swarm incident at Barksdale Air Force Base (BAFB) in Louisiana during the week of March 9–15, 2026.
twz.com
What Happened
  • Barksdale AFB (home to the 2nd Bomb Wing's B-52 Stratofortress bombers and a key part of U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command/nuclear triad) experienced multiple waves of unauthorized drones.
  • Reports describe 12–15 drones per wave, operating over sensitive areas including the flight line.
  • The drones showed non-commercial signal characteristics, long-range control links, and resistance to jamming.
  • They flew in coordinated patterns (entering/exiting to potentially avoid tracking), with lights on — possibly to test security responses.
    abcnews.com
  • Incursions lasted several days (up to ~4 hours per day in some accounts), forcing temporary shutdowns of flight operations and at least one shelter-in-place order on March 9.
    asiatimes.com
Context and Impact
  • This occurred while B-52s from the base were supporting U.S. operations (Operation Epic Fury) against Iran, raising concerns about potential intelligence-gathering or disruption.
  • Some outlets described it as a "sophisticated drone swarm attack" that temporarily disrupted base operations — the first time a U.S. airbase was reportedly put out of action in wartime in this manner.
    asiatimes.com
  • No confirmed kinetic attack (e.g., explosives) occurred; it appears primarily as persistent unauthorized overflights/surveillance that the base struggled to counter effectively.
  • The military is investigating with federal and local law enforcement. A confidential briefing noted the drones posed risks to public safety and national security by forcing flight line closures.

Broader PictureThis fits into a pattern of recent drone incursions over U.S. military bases. The origin and operators remain unknown publicly (no confirmed attribution to a specific foreign actor in open sources). U.S. senators (including Louisiana's delegation) have requested classified briefings on the matter.

The incident highlights ongoing challenges with counter-drone capabilities at domestic bases, even at high-value strategic sites. Base officials confirmed the multiple unauthorized drones but provided limited public details beyond cooperating with investigators.

Nothing anecdotal about it, it's my reality.

If your reality is suffering under Trump’s "crumbling" economy, maybe get a better job.

Trump and his base said that Biden had the worst economy that almost destroyed America.

Since then, GDP growth is down, US dollar is down, job growth is down, debt is up, most ever gap between home sellers and buyers ever, prices are not going down (may be going up).

By their logic, that would mean we have the worst economy ever under Trump.

Now, I think Trump and his base were hyperbolic about Biden even though I think he was a horrible president, and the economy did suffer. So I don’t subscribe to that myself. I wouldn’t even say Trump has the worst economy ever, but it certainly isn’t close to the best.
Im apt to ponder that most of these ""talks"" are just Trump sending ultamatums and deadlines into the void.

Then claiming someone is responding through secret channels.

Anyhoo, he's now apparently extended the deadline for Iran to open the Straits by 10 days...

I imagine there will be boots on the grounds before then if im honest.

Like nearly everything you have stated as fact on this thread, this claim is false.

Gays are persecuted in the United States?

Stop spreading bullshit.

I see you say that it hurts our enemies. Which one's are those? I could see Iran for sure... But who else? I know a lot of people have said that this is some master play against China. They're not a major oil producer, but they have over 1 billion barrels in reserve. That's enough for them to run for 2 months assuming they're not getting any oil externally. They can still buy expensive oil and supplement for much longer.

Will they still have to pay the price eventually? Absolutely, they would have to refill the reserves which is easier said than done even if the prices come back down, which could take a while. But there are many other nations that would suffer much harder in that span of time, some of whom are our allies. So while it would be an inconvenience to China, it would could be devastating to others.

This isn't just oil either, fertilizer is a massive concern, during planting season. You can over produce on oil to compensate, but try that with food which is seasonal. Luckily it appears a majority of US farmers already bought their stock before planting already, not so much for a lot of the world.

And then there is helium production which effects health care and chip manufacturing.

So while there would be harm to our enemies, it is harm much of the world and in some ways we would have to endure. I don't think it would be a net win.

Exactly it's not just oil, it's a lot of things, we'll be okay. This is crippling China, Russia, and Iran more then anyone else. We do import potash for fertilizer but only 18-25% the rest we source right here.
Quote:The United States is the world's largest producer of helium, contributing approximately 40–44% of global supply, with 81 million cubic meters produced in 2024.

Incidentally, US spending on humanitarian assistance around the world accounts for (and has always accounted for) a miniscule fraction of US spending on arms and foreign military adventures.

The idea that everyone loves and should be grateful to America is a delusion created by US propaganda. The facts are far otherwise.

It's more spending then we should to prop those countries up. Every country you listed are all Trotsky Sniffing Marxist the hell them they are the problem. Look at that socialism doesn't actually work without capitalism propping it up.

Hard to trust the admin when they said they obliterated the nuclear program only to start another war over a nuclear program they warned was weeks away again.

In this bout, we’ve claimed victory every other day and said the only way out for Iran was an unconditional surrender.

Now the admin keeps making deadlines and extending them, lying about being gifted tankers full of oil, and much more.

It doesn’t even appear regime change is on the table anymore, or even realistic. The main objective looks to be opening a strait that wasn’t even a problem before Israel started the conflict.

You must not have read my post. It is not hurting China and Russia more than anyone else.

Russia is the only country who is fully benefiting from this with a temporary sanction lift at higher oil prices.

China is better positioned with a strategic reserve than any nation on earth. Iran tankers flow freely to them, so we didn’t even cut all their supply, not even from the country we’re at war with. We even temporarily lifted Iranian oil sanctions.

They will hurt in some ways, but those will be he ways the whole globe hurts such as higher food prices and other things that can’t be replaced from the global supply like helium.
