Trump says he bombed Iran

Still the worst ever.

Which selected source did you pull that from?

I only use the Silver Bulletin. Trump disapproval rating:  56.7%

They incorporate most major polls and are consistent.

But?  Who is YouGov?

YouGov
is a reputable, international polling firm that aims for objectivity but faces scrutiny regarding potential bias due to its founders' ties to the British Conservative Party. While critics occasionally allege right-leaning bias in its UK operations, YouGov adheres to British Polling Council transparency standards and is generally respected for accurate, data-driven methodology, despite occasional high-profile polling errors

The Home of "The Religion of Peace," compulsory for its own citizens as it may be, and also the country with a fucking sword on its flag, is THE country most positioned on the middle ground of East and West. In almost every way too.

The key member of OPEC between a NATO and a BRIC.  The one that can actually bring peace with minimal effort and keep China and Russia at bay simultaneously. And this path is absolutely one that accommodates their role to become a global peace mediator.

I dont think it will get to any extensive use of ground troops, of all the things Trump considers a minimum of US casualties is probably one of them.  A prolonged conflict being another. Both would likely turn his base, and his cult of personality isn't mandatory enough to win that war.

And I might not trust him as much I trust the proverbial strings of glorious capitalist objectivism to Riyadh, Dubai, Doha, Manama, and Kuwait City.

The rich capitalist oil muslims all really want Tehren out of their modern civilization club.

I think we're too socially occupied running in the Trump neurosis hamster wheel to see the the current changing of the global guard representing Allah.

Something that literally CAN remake the world.

So it processes socially like this suite instead.

Well damn, I can't argue against that, and you know how I love arguing...

The main thing with the Saudis is with thier military, they need a bodyguard, but everything else fits like a glove, not sure how I feel about that though.

An A+ for the use of music to support your point, an underrated talent. All it took was a few notes from each

As the Saudis ascend, everybody wants them as thier dance partner.

I do like that Trump seems comfortable with the Crown Prince.

No worries everyone.  President Trump says Iran gave him a present.   He wouldn’t comment on whether it was the straight reopening, oil, peace promise or a wooden horse.

Honestly,  this whole thing is exhausting mentally!  My sister lost 20,000 the other day in
investments.  There are three or more homeless people living outside of my work.

Everyone I know is burnt out from rising costs, ever increasing workloads (big FU TO private equity).

TSA agents not being paid.

conflicting reporting.

Many people dying or about to!

ITS THE ECONOMY STUPIDs, and real
human lives being effected!
In tune

If Iran pans out, the left is screwed, and if this was doomed to fail, logic suggests most would be ecstatic as the midterms are in jeopardy as well as 2028...

The left or right winning midterms isn’t going to change debt or wars, so it’s not really a big deal to me.

Hey. As long as Israel gets me tax $ I don’t care who wins.

True, but 90% of the OMB believers think differently.

They think the war will give the Dems the House and Senate and a leg up on 2028. It's a recurring theme.

I don't obsess over the debt; wars concern me, this war concerns me, but not overly so at the moment.

Even if Trump wraps up the war nice and neat right now, I think the midterms are done for him. Even if Iran looks like a victory, most people didn’t want it outside of his base. I just don’t see how it moves the needle for mid terms. And again, it doesn’t make a difference to me who wins those.

That said, I’m pretty confident once that happens the left does the same “mandate” thing as the right after said win, and the party just forces whatever dipshit they can find down the voters throats. So it will probably be an even contest in 2028.

I know a lot of the older generation isn’t obsessed with debt, it’s not going to be a do or die problem for another 5-10 years, and by that time a lot of the voters who don’t care will be retired anyways. It’s more of a younger generation problem. The left will continue overspending on social programs that don’t actually help anyone, and the right will continue Middle East wars each time they’re in office like the last three…. And the left will either vote for those wars or refuse to block them.
Trump: "Iran is going to make a deal. The new leadership gave us a significant present that showed me that we’re dealing with the right people."
