NK has nukes.
I think China gets a significant percentage of its oil from Iran, not the lion's share.
But they take about 80-90% of all the oil Iran exports...

We can argue till the cows come home on how or why the war started, but this is how it's ending. Now we watch and see if the IIRG snake can still bite or not.

? BREAKING: Israeli assessment — Iran regime collapse won’t happen during the war
Officials say any collapse is expected months after, not during active fighting.
The strategy:
• War weakens the regime
• Economic pressure breaks it
A key target:
Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil terminal.
➡️ Cut the oil → cut the money → internal pressure rises
If he is going to make a move, best be quick about it.

It has been shown numerous times that the Iranian incursion doesn't move the needle domestically.
As has been said dozens of times before, maintaining a majority trifecta is nigh impossible.
Has only happened twice since 78 Carter and 2002 Dubya.

Iran is saying they will close the Strait of Hormuz and go after energy infrastructure and us companies in region.
Quote:Iran will completely close strait of Hormuz if Trump acts on threats to target power plants - statementThe Reuters news agency is carrying a statement from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in response to the US president, Donald Trump, giving Iran 48 hours to reopen the strait of Hormuz to shipping or face the destruction of its energy infrastructure.
In a new statement, the IRGC said Iran will completely shut the strait if Trump proceeds with his threats to target Iranian energy facilities.
The IRGC were quoted as saying that companies with US shares would be “completely destroyed” if Iranian energy facilities were targeted by Washington, and said energy facilities in countries that host American bases would be “lawful” targets.
It's a little like watching a snake eating its own tail.

This isn't going to end it, it will just change the escalation.
We couldn't end the Houthis in Yemen from the air recently.
I think it's hubris to believe we can magically change reality this time around and knock over a regime from the air. And while Iran has been firing less missiles and drones, they've had a higher success rate of hits since the region is running low on interceptors.
I know there was celebration we freed up 200m+ barrels of oil at sea recently, but that's a couple weeks worth to a month tops. There are a lot of facilities that are badly damaged, so production will be down for up to 5 years at some of those locations.
Iran won't "win" against everyone, but we can still lose too.

According to Axios,
the United States has reportedly delivered a set of tough conditions to Iran as part of a proposal linked to peace and a ceasefire. The message was passed through Egypt, Qatar, and the United Kingdom.
The United States is asking Iran to agree to six commitments:
1. Suspend its missile program for five years
2. End uranium enrichment completely, with enrichment reduced to zero
3. Shut down the damaged reactors in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow
4. Allow strict international oversight of centrifuges and nuclear facilities
5. Accept regional arms control limits, restricting missiles to a maximum of 1000
6. Stop all funding for proxy groups including Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Hamas[/quote]

Destroying essential infrastructure or creating conditions that make life unbearable.
Can absolutely be considered a war crime under international law.
Then why is it that people are calling Trump out for talking about doing it,
but give Iran a free pass when they are actually doing it around the middle
east now in this part of the war, and have been doing it for 47 years?
