Trump says he bombed Iran

It's been 17 days.

You guys are not involved because your PM is a coward, so what do you care?

No, he's just not Trumps little lap dog, like Trump is for Putin and Netanyahu.

Any war lasting longer than a week is a forever war and soiled panties abound!

I think the 'soiled panties' are coming from the Treasury considering the cost of America's war with Iran is now around 12 billion $$$  Lol

Thank you, Kwaka, that's given me something interesting to watch this evening.  Thumbup

All of this back and forth bickering about he said this, and you started this... Reminds me of my school days...

I'm in the odd position of having popped out into this world on the 4 July (yes!) in Liverpool, UK (not the one Jimmy Osmond was singing about   Spin) but spent 9 years living and working in the USA. I was there for the hanging chad election, the plane crash of JFK Jr, the OJ car chase. I got a weird deep, deep intuition to leave very urgently 4 days before 9/11 and passed the Manhattan skyline night of the 7th on my way to JFK. Plus I've lived in Israel, Thailand Australia, Saudi Arabia blah blah for varying lengths of time. I identify with being a world citizen, a human being, gosh even a spiritual being, before I identify with being a Brit.

So listening to all this 'but you started this war" or "you lot should do this" is an interesting, sometimes amusing, sometimes painful exercise in watching folk making statements that are, at best, only partially true.

Remember people, your ego identity is not who you truly are. English, American, Israeli, Iranian, Russian, Chinese, we all shit out of our arses (asses!) and need food and water to keep us alive. The sooner we all come to realise that, the less fighting there gonna be....

It's not exactly like the nation is in the best of financial shape.

The US taxpayers foot that bill, do they not?

$12 billion for 18 days???

I hope this holiday excursion ""not war"" to Iran is all-inclusive.

Because my understanding is that the average American Joe is having problems paying for and affording basic foodstuffs, rent/mortgages, transport, and medical insurance.

It's hardly a pretty picture.

Point of fact its quite possibly unsustainable.

If he really has such high integrity and morals, he should have resigned the day the operation started.

Another butt hurt leaker like Vindmann was.

You MAGA cult guys really can't stand anyone who shows Trump for what he really is, a con-man and grifter who doesn't really give a sh*t about the average American. You'll be clapping each other on the back when Trump tries to claim he's a traitor and weak, maybe remember what old dozzy Don said about Joe Kent in the past????...
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/...r-AA1YR14J
Quote:In fact, Trump endorsed Kent both in 2022 and in 2024. At Mar-a-Lago in 2022, Trump called Kent an incredible and very special person and took credit for encouraging his political career during a highly publicized moment tied to Kent’s personal story

In a 2022 tele-town hall, Trump described Kent as a tough retired Green Beret with a big heart and gave him his total endorsement. Trump ephasized the Kent was a "gold star husband," referencing the loss of his wife overseas.

While in a 2024 tele-town hall he went even further, calling Kent a true American hero and telling supporters they would be proud to have him represent them.

You also have to remember Trump has added over 2 trillion dollars onto America's deficit in his first year back.  I think also racking up an extra 'war bill' wasn't what the American people wanted??

Quote:Trump added $2.25 trillion to the national debt in his first year back in charge, watchdog says..Trump’s first year back in the White House closed with the U.S. national debt roughly $2.25 trillion higher than when he retook the oath of office, showing how fast Washington’s red ink is piling up even amid DOGE hype and promises to pay it down. Over the calendar year 2025, the growth in the national debt was even higher, some $2.29 trillion.

Over the 12 months from the close of trading on Jan. 17, 2025, to the end of day Jan. 15, 2026, the federal government added approximately $2.25 trillion to the national debt, according to calculations shared exclusively with Fortune by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. That period roughly captures President Donald Trump’s first year back in office, as it is the last business day before last year’s Inauguration Day and the most recent day for which data are available

What an incredible shift, almost like he’s now a paid shill.
He’s buddies with Tinker Qatarlson.
That middle east money went to his head.

You parrot Trump loyalist, paid shill & spy Laura Loomer

Then you post an article from Al Jazeera claiming they're a reliable source

Right after your whinefest about them being a propaganda rag

Do you understand why you have zero cred?
"BREAKING: Israel has struck Iran’s South Pars gas field, the world’s largest natural gas field and a core pillar of Iran’s energy supply.

The major escalation comes alongside reported impacts on other oil and petrochemical facilities in the Assaluyeh area of Bushehr province, according to multiple reports. IRGC-linked Tasnim News issued an urgent warning urging people to immediately leave major oil and gas sites in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, saying they had become “direct and legitimate targets” that could be struck within hours.

They listed:
Samref Refinery — Saudi Arabia
Al Hosn Gas Field — UAE ➤ Jubail Petrochemical Complex — Saudi Arabia
Mesaieed Petrochemical Complex — Qatar
Ras Laffan Refinery — Qatar

The report added: “Previously, clear and repeated warnings were given to your rulers about entering this dangerous path and gambling with the fate of their nations.”

The price of Brent crude has surged over 4% to around $108.

"The strike on the Bushehr facility today represents an intensification of existing coalition tactics, pursuing two main goals:

First, to cripple the power grid. Since the South Pars fields, which were hit, account for 70–75% of Iran’s natural gas production, and nearly 80% of the country's electrical grid is gas-fired, these strikes directly threaten national energy security.

Second, the U.S. and Israel anticipate that Iranian retaliation will target infrastructure in Gulf countries. This is a calculated move to further strain relations between Iran and the GCC, effectively dismantling any remaining hopes of regional neutrality as these countries are drawn into the conflict.

"The Spokesman for Qatar’s Foreign Minister, Majed al-Ansari, calls this morning’s attack by Israel against energy infrastructure in Southern Iran a “dangerous & irresponsible step amid the current military escalation in the region.” Adding that, “Targeting energy infrastructure constitutes a threat to global energy security, as well as to the peoples of the region & its environment.”
