So by repeatedly citing Hegseth, Rubio, Kushner, and Witkoff, he shifts the blame onto other people.
If they told him to jump off a bridge, would he do that also?
He's forgetting where that buck stops, methinks.
It did make me laugh reading the article.
The amount sh*t he gave Biden about who was running his government and did he even know. And now here we are and Trump's blaming everyone around him for his governments mess.
At the same time we have articles being posted that Russia is supply tactical information to Iran, whilst Trump's administration is stopping sanctions on it's oil giving Putin a supposed billion dollar a week new income in his war against Ukraine.
It boggles the mind!!

Well, it's double standards, isn't it.
But when you don't have any to begin with...
I suppose it's easy to make hypocritical statements.
And expect one's base to lap up any old excuse.
He wants the credit when everything goes his way.
But as soon as something goes awry.
It's automatically somebody else's fault.

He has recently said that he made the decision because he thought Iran was going to attack. He said it over and over. It was him and his decision. So this seems to be a shift in what he's saying. If it goes bad he will try to say that he got bad advice. Sounds like typical Trump. Covering his butt. (he probably took a look at the stock market. Down about 4,000 from it's high a few weeks ago)

He appears to be the ultimate clown politician, who is now giving off the impression he doesn't understand what's going on, or how those around him are making his decisions for him. Exactly what he blamed Biden for.

He made a big show of saying that the decision was his. If he's pointing fingers now then it's CYA time and things aren't going as well as he and everyone are saying. I do think they are blowing sunshine up our butts at these news conferences. Sure, we've wiped out Irans airforce and navy. But Iran wont stop. They are religious nutjobs on a mission for their fake god. I don't think the Trump administration factored that into their war plans. THAT is what is going to make this war go on and on and on ... and economically screw up the planet.

Hegseth has noticed what we've noticed ... the 'Supreme Leader' has no proof of life. No video. No voice. Just a written statement. Says the 'Supreme Leader' is probably disfigured and injured. That's a good assumption, I think. I think the rumors of a coma are strong, considering the fake pictures Iran put out and the written statement.
Hegseth Says Iran Supreme Leader Probably Disfigured and is Hiding
Quote:"Iran's leadership is in no better shape. Desperate and hiding, they've gone underground, cowering. That's what rats do. We know the new so-called not so supreme leader is wounded and likely disfigured," Hegseth said Friday at the Pentagon. "He put out a statement yesterday. A weak one, actually, but there was no voice. And there was no video. It was a written statement."
"He called for unity, apparently killing tens of thousands of protesters is his kind of unity. Iran has plenty of cameras and plenty of voice recorders. Why a written statement? I think you know why. His father dead. He's scared, he's injured, he's on the run and he lacks legitimacy," Hegseth added.

Rumors on the internet and being reported in alternate sites that the leadership of Iran has fled Tehran and is hiding out in Mashhad which is East of Tehran on the Afghanistan border.
Can't link to them. Just seeing the information being posted on other forums.

Considering how much of his family has already been wiped out in first few hours of the 'war', it wouldn't surprise me.

I agree 100% IRGC aren't going to surrender once Iran falls, they'll splinter and ramp up their insurgency style warfare across the middle east - I think the US was claiming Iran has a stockpile of enriched nuclear material but there doesn't seem to be any plan by US/Israel to secure the material and stop it being used in terror attacks.
Putin has doubled down on his support for the regime and slight possibility he may offer leadership asylum. China are being very quiet but haven't cancelled their recent $500m arms deal with Iran.
