Donald Trump has suggested his war with Iran could soon come to an end just hours after completing a mysterious phone call with Vladimir Putin.   Trump told reporters US forces are 'very far ahead of schedule,' claiming Iran's military has effectively been destroyed.  'I think the war is very complete, pretty much,' Trump told CBS News. 'They have no navy, no communications, they've got no Air Force ... Wrapping up is all in my mind.


Trump's remarks came after Putin shared a proposal to quickly end the war during the call, according to the Kremlin. The two leaders also discussed the current war in Ukraine as well as the oil market in Venezuela.

Trump Furious At Israel

Not least bit surprised he is!
I have been wondering ever since this kicked off, which side would "over-step the mark" as it were..... go rogue if you prefer...... in this case do something they had not told or discussed with the other side.
Why am I not surprised that it was the Israeli's?
I've been to Israel, many decades ago. I didn't like being searched by a military woman, who spoke no English and had a riffle in the corner and a handgun on her hip. We were a bunch of young teenage schoolkids disembarking off the educational ship SS Uganda, on a visit to the Holy Land for Christmas. We were all thoroughly searched. She reached and unclipped her holster for her handgun at one point...... I really thought she was going to shoot me!
Anyway, what I do know is that Israeli's (certainly from that time) have a boulder (not a chip) on their shoulders. They care not one iota about what others think of them. They are ruthless and will take any means to get what THEY want.
I have no issues with Jews though. Different kettle of fish altogether.

They just got waivers to sell oil to India, at short term record prices.

Seasonal goods, it's our normal busy time, but we are noticeably busier. I thought with the war drums, we might be less busy...

Getting lots of reorders and additional stock orders, riding the wave, living the dream.

It seems like the US and Russia are finally ready to carve out the new world. No doubt much of what Russia discusses involves China and relaying back the info to China. If Trump is finally furious with Israel, then I am glad. 

I suspect part  of the deal will come with trade-offs in Ukraine, and maybe finally Israel not just be permitted to be leveling entire blocks of apartments with families inside  whenever a firecracker launched by Mossad Agents Islamic militants lands in an empty field injuring and breaking nothing and noone.

I wonder why they don't just strike where the missile came from, they always go straight for apartment blocks ...

That is the  kind of behavior Israel needs spanked out of them.
But its only been two turns, we still got 8 turns to go before any cessation of hostilities is even allowed, per the rules of civilization.

It's been a roller coaster today.

He said the war is ahead of schedule and complete, pretty much, markets pumped.

Then within an hour we got:
"We will not rest until Iran is totally defeated"
"WE HAVEN'T WON ENOUGH"

Hard to read the tea leaves. Feels kind of "Mission Accomplished" counting the eggs before they hatch. But he is Teflon Don for a reason, and has squeaked his way out of a lot of sticky situations. 

The thing that separates this from some of the crazier tariffs or other bluffing he's done is this isn't something you can just tweet to undo. The new Supreme Leader lost most of his family, Iran's oil industry got hit hard recently. Tehran got rocked. On one hand, they may take the L and start focusing on rebuilding their country. On the other, they may try to make the region and world hurt too.

Reporter: "You said the war is 'very complete.' But your defense secretary says 'this is just the beginning.' So which is it?

TRUMP: "You could say both" ...

It seems obvious, Trump had to say something to calm the markets

Israel says the war is far from over
Iran says the war isn't over

Reports of Tehran being struck by a weapon that produced an 'odd white light' at this moment

TV News reporting that the new Supreme Leader of Iran,
The Ayatollahs son, lost a leg in the bombing that killed
his wife and father.   That would explain all the reports of
him being wounded and no one seeing him.   
His leg had to be amputated.   He's in a hospital somewhere.

The cultural mindset is bluff and bluster.

From my personal experiences in Africa and dealing with Middle-Eastern's.

They see appeasement as a weakness, negotiation, compromise as a weakness.

Trump, for the first time, is dealing with them on their level.

They have always assumed the west as weak.  And we were.  They assumed Trump would be as weak as the previous presidents.

They were wrong.

Now THEY have to adapt.  Or die.

Oh wait, I guess this is why Trump is mad at Israel, allegedly . Forgive me if it was already posted, in the ten pages since, but they tend to fill up with nonsense and hysterics.
