You don't understand the term.  Israel is "Gods Chosen People' because God chose to be born through them when He became man - Jesus Christ.   God Chose to have the Messiah come through them.  That will never change.   Therefore, they will always be 'Gods Chosen People'.  You can't change history, no matter how much you hate Israel and the Jews.

I haven't said I enjoy the attacks.   And I've given no indication that I do.   I have no feelings about them one way or another.  They are just what has to be done.  And no, the attacks on Iran are not coming from those places.  
   Again ... I haven't cheered anything.  If I had, there would be nothing wrong with doing that.  I'm allowed.   But I haven't.   What I HAVE said is that it's a smart war move, because it is.  In war, you always go after the leadership.   Your post is nothing more than drivel.

    Yeah .. the country that has continually said they are going to wipe Israel off the face of the map and destroy America, Israel and their allies are really NOT going to attack them.   Sure.   Their proxies Hamas and Hezbollah have been doing it for decades.  As soon as they got a nuke, Tel Aviv would be gone.  You are a riot!

So a couple things. And I’ve tried to stay outta this thread for the most part. But you both bring up interesting and noteworthy points to hash out. At least IMO. So here goes. 

A. I see where you’re coming from and why you’d be rankled at the accusations. Having that said there is room for debate rather than defaulting to ideology here.

B. It’s apparent to me that this war was in the works as soon as Trump became 47, probably earlier. The June attacks on Iran to dismantle its nuclear program were a preamble. A warm-up if you will. They were precise and the world abided this “reason”. Now then. Regardless of how you feel about Islam or Iran for that matter, I would posit that the Muslim world might view Israel and its ravenous lap-dog, the US as a sinister force that exports terrorism and inflicts pain with impunity. Now before you balk, I could go on and on. But I’ll just use some recent examples. 

Israel running incursions into Lebanon, Syria, and beyond to thwart the threat of “terrorism” is weak. Not to mention the travesty of Gaza we’ve all had the joy of watching. So. There’s that.

Anyway. Trump’s Gunboat Diplomacy in Venezuela, Greenland, Iran, and Cuba too is rather poor for the leader of the Free World. We should be better than bullies. Iran wasn’t ever getting a nuke, nor were they ever gonna destroy America.

ETA: so much for “No Wars” or rebuilding the economy….ahem. Also, before anyone jumps down my throat and says Israel has the right to defend itself. I agree. As does ANY country. But killing 100k+ civilians and terrorizing the local settlements ain’t it babe…..it’s a bad look m’kay.

At the risk of being off topic ....

"Messiah' is a Jewish term and Jesus was the Messiah for the Jews alone.   Not the gentiles.  For the gentiles He is Christ the Redeemer.   Only Jews have The Messiah ... "messiah' meaning deliverer of the Jewish nation as prophecied in Jewish texts.  We have the Christ.  The Messiah fulfills Jewish prophecy for the Jews, not the Gentiles.   Gentiles didn't have the prophecies.

And yes, Judaism totally rejects Christ.   The Talmud is particularly blasphemous and disgusting.

But that doesn't change the fact that Christ chose to be born Jewish and that is why the Jews are called 'Gods Chosen People'.   God chose salvation to come through the Jews.   They will always be 'Gods Chosen People' because of that  history .. they were chosen to be the people that God was born into and to bring salvation, even if they themselves reject it.
