Ever here the term "Separation of church and state"
Presidents are sworn in on bible's you don't understand separation of church and state as it applies to the United States we have in God we trust stamped on everything.

Ya poor guy! I'm sorry you feel you need to think that way.
Maybe try to stay on topic instead of trying to attack me??

All this will do is drive up costs for the average 'joe' and force the consumer to pay more for pretty much everything.
Yes, slave labor is cheaper and they went that route. Our current administration is trying to use tariffs to bring it back by making slave goods cost more then what decent paying jobs can produce.
The average "joe" shouldn't be benefiting from slave labor either and should pay more for things, we should be less of a throw away economy.
We already fought this war once and won and we can do it again if we like.

It actually DOESN"T apply to the United States.
Like I said ... that phrase is just from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson.
It's not in any of our founding documents.
And the first amendment clause of 'the government shall establish no religion'
doesn't affect the fact that people still have a right to pray as they wish.
Praying on their own with/without company isn't 'establishing a religion'.
It's not my kind of thing. But they can do it.

There is a First Amendment clause that prohibits the establishment of
a religion in government. But having people pray with you or for you
is not establishing a religion in government.
It 's not just from that letter. It's a bit older
From Wiki...
Quote:1644
The term "separation of Church and state" was first used by Roger Williams in 1644
Do you not think Trump could be using this to help push his war with certain groups?

Sure but like you said the 1st says 'the government shall establish no religion' which is usually what foreigners and average Americans think means separation of church and state.
I was trying to point out we use religion in government all the time.

It's age doesn't make it a law. When this is all over, are going to man up apologizes for your wild accusations of WW3 being a holy war carried out by Christians and Donald Trump?

Tariffs don't work like that and again only drive up costs for the consumer if there's no manufacturing base at 'home'. Planning before hand to help increase manufacturing at home before tariffs reduces to cost to the consumer.
Capitalism and the drive for more profits over the last 80 years are what benefited from slave labor and turning a blind eye to the destruction of home grown manufacturing.
Know the consumer instead of the richest 1% are paying the cost of yet another war.

You're funny!!
They're just the opposite side of the same coin. With Iranian religious nutjobs one side and American and Israeli religious nutjobs the other.

He doesn't need to push anything with any group, it's not like he can run for office again. This military action doesn't require anyone's support he has the legal authority to do exactly what he is doing. I'm sure some international organization might disagree but unless they have some marvel superhero to enforce there will it kind of just ends up on the floor.
