Logic suggests that if the allies have air superiority, they can track and hunt down launch sites much more quickly

No, he's not a government official but the interview and his statement were real

Since I don't speak Arabic, I don't know the details of his full interview

Point being a political analyst is different from being a Saudi government official, is it not? CNN and FOX both are full of dumbass BIASED on-staff or guest political analysts? YES or NO?

One can only assume AL Jeereza has the same issue...

All that matters is what Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud thinks; he and Trump seem closer than most allies, Bibi included.

Would be my early morning thoughts

Quote:The total number of successful hits (direct impacts or effective damage from missiles and drones) on Saudi Arabia remains very low based on the latest reports from the ongoing escalation as of March 2, 2026.
In the current Iran-led retaliatory attacks (starting late February/early March 2026, following US-Israeli strikes on Iran):

• Drones targeting Ras Tanura refinery (March 2, 2026): Reports confirm two Iranian drones were launched at the facility. Saudi air defenses intercepted both, but debris from the interceptions fell on/near the site, causing a limited fire, minor damage, and a temporary precautionary shutdown of some operations at the 550,000 bpd refinery. No direct drone impact occurred, no injuries/fatalities, and supply to markets was unaffected. Official Saudi statements describe this as debris-related rather than a full "hit," but it resulted in real (though contained) effects.
• Earlier attacks (e.g., February 28–March 1, 2026): Iran targeted Riyadh (including the international airport) and the eastern region (including Prince Sultan Airbase, which hosts US forces). Saudi defenses intercepted missiles/drones, with no reported disruptions, casualties, or confirmed direct hits/damage from these.
Overall for this recent wave: 0 confirmed direct hits from intact missiles/drones, but 1 incident of effective damage (via interception debris at Ras Tanura). Saudi Arabia has not released comprehensive totals for projectiles launched/intercepted, but defenses appear highly effective, similar to other Gulf states (e.g., UAE intercepted most of hundreds but saw some drone penetrations elsewhere).

Kameneis wife just died.

HERE

Quote:The wife of Iran's Supreme Leader has died today after succumbing to injuries sustained in the same US-Israeli airstrike that killed her husband.

Al Jazeera reported that Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh died two days after her husband, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in his compound in Tehran.

Iranian state media reported on Sunday that Khamenei's daughter, grandchild, daughter-in-law and son-in-law were killed in the strike as well.

Al Jeezera is just as biased as the rest.
During the Israel/Gaza thing, they wouldn't report anything negative about Hamas.
The hostages released reported being sexually assaulted .. both men and women.
Just crickets from Al Jeezera.

I'm assuming 'all eyes' will be watching for such an eventuality.

PS.... Macron just announced that the French will be increasing their nuclear arsenal. That's disturbing. No link as yet, just breaking news.

How about sending jet fighters to take out drone plants in Iran that are supplying Russia in Ukraine, for starters

It will never not be hilarious that the same retarded, SSRI-gobbling weirdos who walked around dressed as handmaidens are now collectively wetting themselves because Trump killed the guy who literally made women walk around dressed as handmaidens.

Syria’s new president used to be high up in Al Qaeda and had a 10m bounty from the US until late 2024.

He recently went to the White House.

The moral of the story is our political establishment are hypocrites when it comes to the Middle East, and should be met with great skepticism when either side speaks on foreign policy there.

It's funny that you mention Fox because I'm pretty certain that's MAGAs main news source

But yeah, like I said, I'm lacking context
I dont know if he's speaking in a literal sense or if he's venting frustration at how the situation is evolving

I have seen some videos floating around where people are claiming to see US forces abandoning bases
But It's difficult to know what's real rn

Yeah going to visit the White House is a tad more civilized than swearing death to America.

Not gonna mention previous administrations' attempts to politically terraform the Middle East, Syria in particular.
